Vamp-Man

We call it the prime crime" Remi completed explaining. "Are you out of your senses? Huh?" Alex screamed at her. "It's not the first of April and the fiction you are sharing with me is completely illogical. "It's not fiction! Why don't you understand Alex that I am really a Vampire but somehow fell in love with you? But it's not acceptable in our world. Rather it's one of the greatest crimes vampires have ever committed. Our men will come and kill both of us." Alex was losing patience with Remi. An intelligent beautiful girl of 20 and such illogical claims didn't match each other. "Oh really!?Show me your teeth. Mother made me hear stories of a vampire with long canines and dreadful looks. Where's that? Hidden under some funny spell of yours?" Alex was irritated by now. "How did you know that I used a spell?" Remi spoke, taking the last bit of patience left in Alex. "What the hell!!What happened to you? How can a hunter fall in love with prey? Did someone hit you hard in the brain.?" Alex started to scream hardly noticing the way Remi moved her hand over her face. Suddenly her canines grew long and the white of her face seemed suddenly loaded with dust. Her shining blue eyes went blood red and her white skirt transformed into a black cloth wrapped around her body with a red cloak sweeping the floor behind her as she walked closer to Alex.

Alex ran backward, stumbling across some branches and the banyan tree's roots, falling on his back. A strong wave of fear brushed the back of his neck while panic crawled upon his brain. "Stay away from me. Who... Who are you ?" Alex struggled to make his tongue move. "It's me only. Remi. Now did you understand" Remi tried to make Alex feel normal? " I tried to make you understand but you thought I was joking. Don't you understand? Think why do I meet you at night only? My job in a hospital was a lie. It's because am a vampire. And do you remember the first day you met me and saw me in the same clothes you are seeing me now? It wasn't the Halloween party, that was my real look. And don't you understand why I called here today in the middle of the forest? I called you here to show you my identity" Alex's brain did not permit him to understand what Remi was speaking. As he got sure that vampires exist, the thought of Remi's fellow vampire coming to dine upon him started haunting him. "I don't want any explanation now. First, tell me how you will save us from your kind?" Alex spoke as he brought himself up to his legs. " There is a way. Listen to me carefully.." Remi just started when the sound of something spinning fast above their head reached both of them. " Shit! They are here" Before Remi could say another word three men with nose-long canines dressed in a white shirt with a black cloak behind, longer than the one of Remi landed arround them.

" So it's time for you two to die" spoke the eldest of them, taking out a shining knife, and scaring the bits out of Alex. " No! Master Gurgo, Please wait !" Remi cried " Alex will convert himself to a vampire and we will live our lives as slaves. That would save us, right? "Alex felt his eyes pop out of astonishing thoughts provided by Remi. " But for that, we would require the homo-sapiens consent. You human, do you agree to get converted into a vampire ?" Master Gurgo spoke in a voice sharp as a knife. Alex turned to Remi, his tongue tied by ropes of shock. " Alex you have to do this to be alive, please. I can't be a human so you have to be a vampire now or else we both will die." Alex stood there in silence. His eyes focused on those of Remi. " Do you want to be a Vampire or not? The third time my knife will speak?" Master Gurgo warned. " Please, Alex. You love me right?" Remi spoke with a broken voice. "Yes but" " The human said yes. Made him drink the pig blood serum" Master Gurgo's command interrupted Alex. "Wait the yes was not for the transformation!" One of the other two brought Alex on to his four with a strength no human can possess. The second of the two poured something colored dark blue out of his glass bottle into a small earthen pot.

Master Gurgo forced his mouth open. The serum was poured into his mouth. Alex felt Ice being poured but felt his neck hot. It felt like the ice was burning him. As the serum went down his neck strange thoughts wandered into his brain. "Now if I will become a vampire I will have to drink human blood. Blood of the species I belong to and my family too. And I have to avoid the sun. And what's all this for? A girl. A girl I scarcely know. A girl who lied half the time " Such thoughts drove Alex into a state of madness. As he experienced a sudden gush of power through his blood he forced himself up on his feet. The one holding fell on the ground and the serum got spilled on the forest floor. Before Master and Remi could realize Alex fled from the scene. While he got a view of the four vampires behind, picking themselves to a stable condition, Alex sped through the woods. He felt his body a bit lighter. While he ran, he felt the blood being poured into his eyes and his canines extend. It was the effect of the serum. As he forced through the woods a strange thought came. What is he now? Not a full vampire. Not a full human. Maybe a Vamp-Man.
