Unsettling Period

Being cooped up in a room, all by myself 

Floating in the sea of dismal thoughts 

Seeing my parents smile from afar

A sense of equanimity flows through me

Yet life has come to a grinding halt

And as I go thin on patience 

A painful thought crosses my mind,

World is going through the toughest

And it is the time to not quibble 

But to only be grateful.
