Unlucky Kid’s Kid

 

                There was a family in small village which was near to town in slave India. It is better to be poor and healthy than sick and rich. There was a boy in the family who was health conscious. He would do physical exercise daily which kept him very strong, impressive and healthy. His appearance seemed like a great personality. When he passed his school certificate examination from the town after facing financial crises, he decided to go for physical training course. He did his graduation in physical education. As soon as he completed his graduation, India got independence. He got job as physical instructor in neighboring state which was adjacent to home district. So, he accepted job where he was enjoying his newly married life in free India. He had two daughters and youngest son. Under his supervision and guidance his eldest daughter became the doctor and rest of his kids were engineers. He achieved the benchmarked in his life. He was respected in his relatives as well as in the community. It was the great achievement for his family. His kids were the role model for the kids of his relatives and community. 

            There was no such tough competition for well qualified students in those days as seen today. They easily got fat cat jobs. His son was in foreign with expenditure of company in different countries for many years where he was enjoying his bachelor life. In those days, there were no highly educated girls in his community. So, it was a difficult job for master of family to find match bridegroom for his son. After great effort, he found a girl who completed Polytechnique. She had unpleasant physics. A bird in hand is worth two birds in the bush. Nobody from his nearest relatives accepted his choice. Since he paid more attention on education, the family accepted her as daughter in law. She wasn’t beautiful but also very egoist. She had ego of a lady engineer in the community.  

               Both of them went abroad for few years. They had baby. But she wasn’t satisfied with him for reasons only known to her. she came back from abroad. But she refused to go back again. Her husband thought that she didn’t like to enjoy the foreign life. So, he also left the job and came back. But she wasn’t ready to stay with him in his family. Elders from both sides arranged so many meetings to settle down the differences between them. She said that she wanted to complete her education. Father-in-law allowed her for completion of graduation in engineering. He borne whole expenditure of her education. Her father -in-law was very powerful man in the university. He arranged a job for her at their resident city. She joined the job for few months. She went back to her father for some festival again. But she refused to return back as in the past. The diamond with flaw is better than a common stone which is perfect. She put her another proposal for doing post -graduation as she wanted to be principal of engineering college in her life. His husband also agreed with the proposal. After post-graduation, she came back and stayed with family for few months. This time her behavior with whole family was fairly good. After few months, she called few closest relatives from her family. She collected all her gold jewelry and other valuable items with her and went back to her father again. She didn’t come back.

                 The couple’s daughter was a grown-up child. Her father loved her too much. For want of nail, shoe is lost, for want of shoe, horse is lost .and for want horse, rider is lost. So, he left his city from his state and went to his father -in -law. He took house on rent nearby her father’s home. His parent thought that their son was happy there. So, they were also happy in their city without their son. 

               She was doing some job somewhere in city. Her husband was also working somewhere in the city. Persuasion is better than force. He would go to meet his daughter frequently. But he couldn’t persuade his wife for enjoying their married life again. After few months, his father took another initiative to settle their dispute. But on that occasion, wife’s family asked for their divorce. So, his father went down flames. Whole family were in depression due community pressure. At last, they decided for divorce. Court granted the permission for divorce with condition to take responsibility of girl by his father. He made enough provision for his daughter. 

          His father thought that how would his beloved son survive without life partner for the rest of the life. One of the nearest relatives put a proposal of widow to him. She had only enjoyed married life hardly one and half year and having small baby. Her husband was expired in an accident. Once beaten, twice shy. He would know that family was better than previous family from his sources. But he still refused the proposal as she had baby.

                After few months, another relative brought another proposal for the marriage. She was also widow. But she had divorce from  her husband. May relatives opposed the proposal. But he didn’t pay attention to their opinions. He built new house at his parental place for his son. His son got married with that widow. They were staying in their new home. His parents also stayed with them, but they had to leave the place and went back to their old place as there were always clashes within the family. Her husband managed her with great difficulties. His parent kicked the bucket as they shocked due death of their younger son -in-law and disputed life of their beloved son. When going gets tough, tough get going. He started his own business of layout as he was civil engineer. He sold all his parent’s property after their death. He purchased flat for his family in the city. As Man proposes and God disposes. The moment he just started enjoying his life with her wife after suffering so many tragedies than he had blood cancer. He lost his life soon before enjoying his rest of the life.

             His wife was too clever. She didn’t allow his sisters to meet him in hospital. She broke all relations with his sisters. In addition to this, she didn’t allow his daughter to meet with him. She had doubt about equal shares in his wealth. She, herself completed all funeral activities depriving late husband’s daughter who was present during funeral. In fact, it was daughter’s legitimate claim.

          He as well as his daughter were very-very unlucky. Her mother went to USA with his school boyfriend keeping her daughter with her brother. Daughter neither got love of his father nor her mother. And no expectation at all from her step-up mother. she was really unfortunate like her father. Her step-up mother would have accepted her as daughter as she had no child. But she couldn’t make her heart so generous. It was unfortunate for an unlucky kid of a kid.
