On a day when truant clouds lingered timidly like shy brides of the sky, my dog and I went out for a walk. Cory, my Rottweiler, is a very amiable dog despite its ferocious eyes and notorious reputation. He is a vegetarian, contrasting to his carnivorous instincts. Cory loves meeting Ginger, the Bearded Collie of Mr. Moon.

As Cory and I walked into a stretch of canopied green, the sky turned grey. Suddenly, thunderous clouds glowered overhead as they abated their raging fury over the valley. A raindrop kissed my cheek and slammed down on the asphalt. We love to go out in rain.

We kept walking as Cory dodged a couple of logs and shingles. Some Siberian cranes, a guest of the winter, also tried to accompany us but Cory scared them off with his loud howl. I patted him on the back and unleashed him. Then we went into the lake. The current was not too strong, but the water came up till my waist. The lake was clear without any marine life. Ginger along with Austin visited us. We talked a lot with our legs dangling in the water. Austin Moon is a blond lad with almond eyes and luscious lips. We headed home after an hour and Austin grabbed ice cream for himself and me. He walked me to the driveway and we went our ways.
