Unaccountable Role (Chap 1-3)

I never would have thought that...A reader like me would experience transmigration and into a novel that I've never finished.

"I only liked to read so why!?" 

The novel that I'm in is called 'The Conquest of Zero' a fantasy novel that my friend recommended me.

"Where did it go wrong?"

"I was very diligent at my job so why!? Why does it have to happen to me!?"

Worst of all I have lived my life as a different person and the character that I've transmigrated in was never introduce or mention in the novel.

I'm likely to be just a mere background "goddamnit" whoever you are even if your a god I'll smack the back of your head. For transferring me to this world.

(Chapter 1 Transmigration)

The Conquest of Zero

(Is your typical adventure-packed action novel where the mc was transported into another world.)

The protagonist of the novel is Park min ah who was transported into another world where magic and other beings exist. Park min ah woke up in a dark underground cave where every corner lurks with vicious monsters so for survival he used his knowledge that he had learned from Earth.

He was a university student when he was not transported from this world. He made use of the sword on the floor by the dead corpse there was also a book by it but he ignored it at the thought that it was useless he then used the sword for protection. 

Slowly and gradually adapting to the environment he was able to master some sword art that the book describes he looked at the book and caressed it.

'It wasn't useless at all'

He lived his life like this for almost 10 years in solitude, with no one to converse to and the despair and loneliness soon engulfed his heart.

But at a tender age of 17 in his years of life in this world, he finally got out of the underground cave and saw the vast horizon of the otherworldly place he had spent in for the last 17 years.

Soon after getting out of the underground cave, he ventures to the forest to arrive at a small village. Some people were surprised to see the appearance of the boy but he was gladly taken in by the sweet and caring people of the Brook Village in Marquis Wheelmen territory he was happy to see people knowing that he wasn't alone in this world. 

However, that happiness will soon cease to exist as he had left the Village to gather wild animals for food supply. Some unknown people with black robes with a crest of Red Claws by their chest destroyed and killed the village and its people living none alive, Some were captured and sent to an unknown location.

People started to scream all you can hear are their desperate begging Park min ah felt chills on his neck when he heard desperate screams of the people Park min ah got anxious and quickly gone back to the village.

Park min ah was lost for words when he had come back. In front of him, blood and corpses can be seen the strong smell of iron that hurts your nose can be smelt everywhere. Park min ah cleach his chest a strong urge was swelling deep inside of him. It was...

'RAGE'

Rage swallowed Park min, ah, He killed all the men in black robes leaving no one alive he felt an emptiness in his heart as he saw the view of all the people that fed him, took care of him, his friends all in the ground with no warmth and lifeless.

Park min ah Cried and resented himself for not protecting his newfound family he buried them all, gave them flowers, and gave them prayers.

Park min ah then left the Brook Village with the act of revenge the kind boy was now nowhere to be found only you can see a savage beast hunting for his prey with its sharp claws ready to shred everything to pieces.

He went on to the nearby Marquis Wheelmen territory to get information and to report what had happened to the Brook Village.

And that's where Park min ah started his Conquest Park min ah thought that his name sound suspicious so he came up with the name Zero for no further suspicion in the future..

Then there was me the Reader. 

I'm Lee Son your average 25 years old office worker currently the team leader of my team at a publishing company my hobbies are Rock climbing, learning martial arts like jujitsu and taekwondo and of course reading the novel I wouldn't have worked at a publishing company if don't read any of them.

My co-worker recommend me the novel titled 'THE CONQUEST OF ZERO'

He said it's your average transported to another world novel. 

I took on the offer and only read until volume 3, I got bored at the plot as he said it's your average cliche adventure novel where the protagonist is overpowered and easily deals with the situation.

Me sighing in disappointment cause the novel is the same as others...I put down the book and slowly got up and started to prepared my dinner.

While eating I suddenly felt dizzy 'What's happening am I that tired? 'Maybe I'm stressing out for the presentation next week.' then he slowly completely closed his eyes.

The next thing I knew I was lying down on a comfortable bed 'When did I go to my bedroom,I was eating dinner then...What!?' 

I felt the warm sunlight touching my skin coming in from the window and slowly opened my eyes. Then saw an unfamiliar ceiling 'Huh!? Was my ceiling always like this?' he slowly got up look throughout the room.

The room was quite spacious with fancy looking walls and expensive looking furniture with an accent of gold. Lee's Son started to wipe his eyes as he cannot believe what he was seeing.

'What the hell!? Where am I!? I this a dream if it is...Why is it so vivid?' At that moment someone knocked three times on the door.

"Young Master, it's Bern may I come in for your breakfast?" 

'Young master? Well judging the size of this room and all those fancy looking things maybe I'm rich. 

"Come in" Lee Son replied with a sore tone as he had just woken up.

The door slowly opened and a young man with a black suit and brown hair entered the room. He pushed the cart into the room the cart has a plate of ham and eggs a set of teapot and teacups.

Lee Son just stared at the man that came in, the young man slowly turned his gaze to the Young master and flinched as they made eye contact he quickly turned his gaze upon the cart and walked towards Lee Son with a wary expression on his face.

'Huh? Why does he look uncomfortable?'

"Um.Bern right?" Lee Son asked in a calm manner.

"Yes, Young master Xarth?" He gulped after saying it.

'...Xarth!? Who is that?' 

"Do you know me?" Lee Son said with a chilling gaze.

Bern looked worried as if something will happen if he didn't answer that and responded.

"Young Master your the second son of Count Barrows and you are Young master Xarth Barrows!"Bern replied with enthusiasm.

Bern slowly looked toward Lee Son and saw his cold gaze, He couldn't help but gulp as seeing the young Master expression and slowly looked away shaking in fear.

But nothing happened he then heard a voice.

"Hmm.Okay" with a stoic look on his face.

Suddenly a large number of memories flooded Lee Son's head. He saw the memories of the former owner of the body, the way he acts toward others his behaviors was those of a stupid spoiled brat. His attitude towards the servant of the household, he always makes a fuss about the smallest things and always does destroying items by throwing it at the servants.

'What an asshole! The previous owner of this body is so childish.'

Lee Son let out a loud annoyingly Sigh.

The servant Bern look worried at the sigh that the Young Master let out. 'Did I do something wrong? I hope I won't get any broken plates flying at me!' 

"Hey Bern"

"Yes, Young Master?"

"Where are we right now?"

'Why is the Young master asking such a question?'

"Young master we are currently in the Count Barrows Mansion at the southern border of the Messiah Kingdom," Bern spoke in a cautious manner.

'...? Did I just heard it right? The Messiah Kingdom that name seems familiar? Where did I hear it before? ....! It can't be!?'

Lee Son's face slowly turned into a frown Bern looking at the Young master frown was sweating. Lee Son again opened his mouth and asked.

"Who's the ruler of Messiah Kingdom?"

At this point on Bern can't comprehend why was the young master asking such obvious questions.

"Young master the ruler of the Messiah Kingdom is King Taylor Slyman."

Lee Son started to think 'Taylor Slyman he's the king of Messiah Kingdom it's the same name of the kingdom and the king on the novel 'THE CONQUEST OF ZERO'. Wait it can't be I'm inside of that Novel!?'

'No No No! I don't have enough evidence to back that up.

"Okay Thank you, Bern."

Bern was shocked to hear the words 'Thank you' come out of the young master's mouth.

Xarth began to eat while sorting out his thoughts.

'I need to find information regarding this world. If it is really the world of that novel? I know some of the events that are gonna happen in the future. So I'm the second son of Count Barrows?'

Lee Son started to think if he knew any information regarding Count Barrows...then a memory struck him 'Oh yeah this is where Zero's gonna get his sword in the first volume of the novel.'

In the novel, The Forest of Lila is where Zero will find his sword it is said that the cave was behind the waterfalls in the inner parts of the forest it also stated that you will need to do something in order to get it, but our mc will just grab it without doing anything...hmpt the power of mc plot.. don't worry there's a different method on getting it.

'Hm..for gathering information I will need money. Where could I get that money from?... Oh yeah, I forgot I'm a spoiled brat, I'll just get the money from Count Barrows.'

In the novel, it just stated that Count Barrows territory was where Zero will find his sword there was no interaction with any family members of the Count and Zero, Which is a good thing being associate with him will only give me the death flag. But I have nothing to do here so I'll just watch him do his thing it's just like your reading a novel but now they really exist and you can interact with him.

Xarth mouth started to twist up at the entertaining events that will take place soon. Bern flinched while seeing the mischievous smile on the Young master's Face.

After breakfast Xarth sat a the couch and started to read some books. Luckily he can read the language of this foreign land after a few minutes. Bern the servant prepared the bath for the young master he left some fancy clothes on the bed and walked towards the Young master.

"Young master I've prepared the bath for you and I've also left your clothes I will pick you up again before lunch," Bern said with a smile on his face. 

Xarth didn't even look at Bern and signaled him with his hand to leave the room as he was focused on reading the book.

Bern then Bowed and left the room the door then shuts, Xarth then continued to read the book for a few more minutes before putting the book down on the table,he stood up and started some light stretch and gone on in the bathroom.

The bathroom was big and fancy looking there was a towel near the tub and a large mirror at the side.

Xarth took off his clothes and looked at the mirror he saw his reflection on the mirror, he can see bright platinum hair, Deep blue eyes, his small face, a pointed nose, red rose lips, Slender hands, and a pale looking face.

'Wow he looked like a prince straight out of a fairytale. He has a great body and godly looks and his just a mere background character author what are you doing!?

After observing himself he then took his bath. While having his bath Xarth started thinking about his appearance.

'He got great looks but a bad personality that sucks if he was just kind i bet he would be really popular.No one will able to resist this face.'

After his bath he took the towel next to him and wrapped it around his waist he took another towel and dryed off his hair.

Xarth slowly walked towards his bed and put on his clothes.After putting on his clothes he continues on reading the book he had put down on the table.

While waiting for Bern to arrived to escort him for lunch.

One hour later....

A knock can be heard through the door Xarth closed the book and stood up from the couch he walked toward the door and opened it. He sees Bern smiling at him before bowing.

"Young master you will now have lunch with your family." 

"Okay lead the way"

Bern started walking at the front of Xarth and soon Xarth began to follow behind Bern. Xarth looked through the hallways of the household it was very grand and large.

'Wow it's really different from my house, my house is maybe the size of Xarth's room...Nobleman's mansion is really large hm...how about the castle I think this mansion will just be the size of the courtyard of the castle.'

Bern then stopped at a large and grand door Xarth then stopped he looked at the large door with concern.

'How am I suppose to act when I'm with the count and others?'

(Chapter 2 Lunch)

Xarth stood in front of the large door the door then slowly opened revealing a grand and spacious dinner room.

The room looked extravagant with its chandelier hanging in the ceiling, walls that are painted with accent of gold and large windows with the sunlight brightening the room. 

Xarth walked in and sat down at where the servant had pulled the chair. 'How many times do I have to say this!? This house is Huge!!'

Xarth gaze turned to the window specifically through the window he could see people happily working on the street.The street was filled with Store stand with different colors and different items on their display.

As he silently watched the people through the window a door opening can be heard leaving Xarth's gaze head towards the directions where he had heard the sound.

A person with blonde hair blue eyes and broad shoulders walked into the room.The room's atmosphere has changed as he had walked in and sat down on the corner chair of the dining table.

'Who's this?,The Count?....No his too young looking , I guess that's the eldest son. In Xarth's memories his name was...'Harold' yeah Harold Barrows we don't particularly hate each other or like each other either or basically I don't know how he feels toward Xarth. I don't remember seeing memories of him and Xarth together so I really don't know their relationship well let's just stay quiet.'

Xarth looked towards Harold who was looking through the window without even batting his eyes on Xarth, Xarth then moved his gaze to the painting on the wall.

The door opened again and Came in Count Richard Barrows and the Countess Roselle Barrows. Count Richard has the same blonde Hair with Harold but his eyes were color green like an emerald while Countess Roselle Had Bright gray hair and Blue eyes same as Harold but unlike the two of them Xarth's eye's were more captivating with it's different shades of blue. 

The two walked in with their arm's intertwined with each other and sat down at the very end of the dining table,the Count then signaled the servant at the dining table to bring in the lunch.

The servant bowed then Slowly gone outside to get the lunch.

'Woah so that's Count Richard Barrows and his wife Countess Roselle Barrows I definitely see the resemblance to Harold but to Xarth not too much why is that?(Nevermind)....But I must say they are really good looking.'

The door opened and 4 Servant came in pushing 4 carts as well they started to put the diningcloth at the Count,Countess and the two Young Masters's Chest so they won't spill their food on their clothes. After putting on the dining cloth they started to lay down food.

It was a juicy Steak with red sauce accompanied with Mushroom soup,Garlic bread and Fresh cooled lemonade.

'Wow that's a Noble's household food it looks like from one of those high-class restaurant.Just by looking at it makes my mouth water.'

"I'm happy that we have our lunch together today as always please start eating before the food cools down." Said the Count with a bright smile on his face.

Xarth nodded his head and started to cut the steak he took a piece of meat on his fork. Xarth didn't notice it but all the people's attention in the room were looking at him with a worried expression.

Xarth then slowly started to chew on the meat.The servant let out a silent gulped seeing the Young master eating the steak,The Count then asked Xarth.

"Xarth is the food to your liking?" With concern tone on his voice.

Xarth gulped the meat and looked the at the Count. The Count then started to speak again..

"I know it's digsu-" 

"It's delicious" Xarth replied with a warm smile on his face.

The Servant in the room were Shocked while the others Jaw's were dropping at the sight that they had just witness.

"Is it really delicious not disgusting?" 

The Count asked one more.

"Yes Father it's delicious" 

Xarth replied while stuffing his mouth with meat

The Count eyes glowed bright that were looking at Xarth with a Warm expression.

"Is that so then eat some more!" The Count said while having a bright smile on his face.

Xarth nodded his head and countinued Eating.

On the other hand the most shocked of them all was Harold. The spoon that Harold was holding fell to the ground.

'What the!? That Brat just said 'its delicious' and smiled and didn't even complain at all. Does he have a fever!?'

The people around the room started to relax knowing that there won't be any flying plates coming towards them.

After lunch Xarth was the first one to the leave room. He first bowed toward them and then spoke.

"Thank you for the meal I'll leave first."

"Ahh okay have a good rest" replied the Count with a slightly Shakey voice.

Xarth bowed once again and walked towards the door and left the room.

The Count eye's gaze towards his wife and his eldest son and asked.

"Did you all hear and saw that?" Asked the Count.

The two of them nodded their heads and Harold then started to speak.

"Father,Does he have a fever?" Harold asked in a confuse tone.

"No I don't think so he was calm and well behaved today....'' 

The Countess then chimed too.

"I don't know what had happened but that was quite nice." Responded the Countess.

Harold and the Count nodded their heads in agreement.

Xarth not knowing what was happening as he had left earlier sat down at the couch and started to read once more.

Xarth finished reading the book much faster than he had anticipated he had nothing to do now he then thought that he should explore the Street.

Xarth stood up and looked toward the door there was a golden rope by it. Xarth walked towards it and started to pull it down a bell could be heard.

A servant then came knocking at the door Xarth opened the door and there was Bern on the other side of the door.

"Hey could you prepare me a robe and some money as well." 

"Yes Young master..Um I know it's prohibited to ask but why does the Young master need a robe for?" Bern asked in a cautious manner.

Xarth then replied

"I'm thinking about exploring the streets."

"Oh is that so Young master won't you need some guard to keep you safe?" Bern asked in a concern tone.

"No need" Xarth replied in cold tone

'I really don't need guards it will attract attention and just because Xarth looks like a fragile doll to be honest I saw memories of Xarth that he had been practicing the sword in secret.So I'm pretty confident that I'm able to you use his skill i mean i am inside his body .'

"Okay Young master I'll come back with everything,Please wait."

Bern hurriedly gone out and prepared everything, Xarth received the robe and the money pouch and he put on the robe and went out through the back gate.

"Bern tell Father that I'm going out to explore the streets." 

"Yes Young master I'll relay your message."

"I'll come back later I'm off."

Xarth wasn't really going out to explore his going to find the BlueBird Merchant Guild for information to back his theory whether he was really inside of a novel.

Xarth started to walk out the mansion's gate and headed out to the streets.The streets were full of colorful store stands the Count's Crest were fluttering through the lamppost on the side of the streets.

People's Gaze were at Xarth because he was wearing a black robe which was getting the attention of the town's people. Xarth asked some people on the streets for directions. 

"Sir where could I find the BlueBird Merchant Guild?"

"Oh the BlueBird Merchant Guild it's on the second streets your currently on 4th Street just walk down that alley way you'll see a sign for 2nd Street."

"Oh thank you so much." Xarth then Bowed after he bowed a hand was waiting for something.

"Nothings for free Kid." The Man replied.

'Even the people here are the same as those on earth how much should I give him I'll just give him 1 silver.'

Xarth reaches out his Money pouch there was Copper,Silver and Gold on his pouch.Xarth pulled out 1 silver coin and handed it down at the hand of the man.

The man flinch at the money that the robe individual gave. Xarth didn't saw it as he had walked down the alley that the man pointed.

'Was that robed individual that rich that he just handed me with 1 silver coin.'

The currency was like this For 1 Gold coin is equivalent to 10 Silver coin while 1 Silver coin is equivalent to 20 Copper coin. 3 Copper was enough for 1 night stay at an inn,for 1 Copper coin you can have a full meal and the average sword cost 15 Copper coin which means the 1 silver coin that Xarth gave was really too much for asking directions.

Xarth wondered down the alley way and saw a young man on his 16s who seems like a beggar based on his shabby appearance he had his head down on the side of the streets. Xarth felt bad and went on to the nearby bakery and bought some bread.

Xarth walked toward the young man and offered him food.The man slowly raise his head and he could see a robe hooded person,the man started to act cautious. 

Xarth looked on the man's eyes it was shaking ever so slightly. Xarth knew why the man was like that he was ready to do anything to protect himself from the hooded person. 

Xarth took off his hood and looked down at the young man,the young man saw the man's beautiful platinum hair and his blue eyes looking at him.It was captivating as it's shine under the shade of the building.

Xarth then started to speak.

"Hey young man here's some bread you need to eat to be strong to live on this world."

The young just looked Xarth's face not on the bread.Xarth squat down and pulled the young man's hand and handed him the bread.

"Young man what's your name?" 

"I....I'm Ernoul sir." Replied the young man.

'Ernoul?...!!HUH!? Sir Ernoul? The youngest Vice Captain knight of the Messiah Kingdom.What the hell is he doing here?'

Sir Ernoul the Youngest Vice Captain knight of the Messiah Kingdom at the age of 19 He was already a Highest Grade swordsman two level underneath a Swordsmaster. Zero is at Swordsmaster level and his just 17 yrs old....Well not really considering his age when he was on Earth.

Sir Ernoul was introduced at the ending of the 2nd volume of the novel and furthermore his origin was never even mentioned in the 3rd volume. He was just recommend by someone and rose up to his position as the Vice Captain Knight.

He was a prodigy in the arts of swordsmanship and it was said that he was very aggressive when it comes to fighting but timid most of the times,you could say he has spilt personalities but never mind that his a really good looking dude as well he has Red hair and Reddish brown eyes.

'But what the heck? why is he here?Hmm..now that I think about it i need strong people with me to avoid situation like the upcoming incident. Should I take him in but if I do the plot will change well in any aspect his just a minor character.So it shouldn't change the plot if I took him with me..Right?'

"Ernoul would you like to work?"

Ernoul's eyes started to shake as he was confuse on what the man in front of him was saying.

"I'll ask you again would you like a second chance at life?"

Ernoul eyes stopped shaking and was focused on the unwavering blue eyes In front of him.he then started to mumble.

"D-Do I really deserve a second chance?"

"Of course no one said that people will never have a second chance." Xarth replied in a confident tone and a smile on his face.

Ernoul eyes started to sparkle as he had just earned his second chance at living a decent life.Ernoul then started to speak...

"I-I want to be a Knight!"

"I'm sure you'll be an excellent knight.'

'of course I knew I'm a reader.'

"Then I will serve you Sir." Ernoul replied with enthusiasm.

"Oh I'll forward to it for now you'll need to learn the sword before you can serve me I'll wait for you."

"Yes Sir....Sir what is your name?"

"I'm Xarth"

'ill tell him later that I'm a noble for now I should buy some clothes for him and head towards the Merchant Guild.'

"I'll be loyal to you Young master Xarth."

"No need for Young Master just call me Hyung-nim."

(Hyung-nim is used as a term for calling one's 'mob boss,' 'crime boss,' or 'Don'. It is a masculine word, meant to be spoken from one male to an older male, as it also commonly means older brother)

"Yes Hyung-nim!"

"First will need to do something with your clothes let's buy some."

Xarth and Ernoul walked in one of the Clothes store and bought some casual clothes soon after they gone to a blacksmith and bought a 3 wooden sword for Ernoul's training which only cost 10 copper.

Xarth also secretly bought a sword specifically for Ernoul's build which was worth 5 gold coin so it's made with highest grade materials and he had reserved it at the blacksmith he will get it when Ernoul is ready. 

Soon after the shopping the two went to the BlueBird Merchant Guild.They were at the front of the building.

The building was cool looking with 3 Stories and there was a crest that has a BlueBird on it holding a letter at the front of the building it was the BlueBird Symbol.

'Just like as I imagined it's the same structure as the one of the merchant building ,I've played on my PC.

(Chapter 3 BlueBird Merchant Guild)

Xarth and Ernoul walked in at the front door, the bell then rang gaining everyones attention inside the building.The people's gazes were on the robe hooded man and at the young man beside him.

Xarth's gaze headed towards everyone on the room one by one but he couldn't find the person he was looking for. He gone up at the counter to ask.

"Where's the owner?"

"Why would you want to meet the owner?"

The man at the counter replied. Xarth moved closer to the man at the counter for him to be only one to hear what he wanted to say.

"Hey. Just fetch him or you'll see your Guild disappear without a trace."

'Well not really...'

Xarth replied in cold and vicious tone.

The man's eyes started to shake he quickly then Bowed and headed toward the Staff only Room to fetch the owner.

'What the hell!?  Who was that? How can he have such a terrifying aura.'

"Huff...B-Boss someones looking for you!Huff...I don't know who that is but he had a terrifying aura. In any case please just go quickly."

'What's with him? Did he ran all the way here. I've never seen him flustered before.'

"Okay I'll go now!."

The boss hurriedly ran out of the staff room,Xarth could see a short man with blue hair huffing and puffing because he had ran all the way here.The man slowly approach the robe person.

The blue haired man was Ronald Hillman the Leader of the BlueBird Merchant Guild at the start of the novel the BlueBird Merchant Guild wasn't that large because they were laying low they all had large information and items that are in stock and the man who made the BlueBird Merchant Guild rise to their fame as one of the three largest merchant guild on Southern continent is obviously Ronald Billman he was quite a meticulous man.

"Who are you and why do you need to see me?"

'Heh no greetings well I'm sure his anxious on what made his employee act like that'

"I need a more private room to talk to. There's a lot of gaze here." 

Xarth said while looking at everyone through out the room.

"Ha! Fine" 

Ronald scoffed at Xarth and signaled the staff to prepare the room at the second floor. The staff quickly gone up and prepared it.

"Follow me!" Ronald replied in a annoying tone.

Xarth ignored Ronald's tone and followed behind him Ernoul also followed behind Xarth.

They walked past 3 rooms ended at the very last room on the second floor. Ronald opened the door and came in soon followed by the two.

The room's size was just right there was two chair a table, and a large painting at the center. It was simple but very clean.

Xarth whispered to Ernoul at that moment.

"Guard the door don't let any one in you can do that right?"

Ernoul nodded his head and went outside.The door closes and Xarth voluntary sat down at the chair with his legs cross and he signaled Ronald to sit.

'What the!? Who is this man how can he be so casual. His like sitting on his own living room.'

Ronald let out a loud sighh and sat on the chair across Xarth.

"So What do you want!?" 

"Ha! Why are so anxious?" Xarth scoffed at Ronald.

"Tch get to the point"

"Ronald Billman Youngest illegitimate son of Duke Billman who was disown by the household and had fled here from the Eastern Continent"

Ronald eyes were shaking so much and his mouth was opening and closing because of all the emotion he was feeling confusion, anger, and Fear. 

"H-How did you know that!!?"

Ronald asked in an anxious tone and expression on his face.

Ronald Billman Youngest son Of Duke Billman he was disowned by his father for he was the son of a maid that the Duke had played with. His mother soon was fired from the Duke household and raised Ronald herself she worked a lot of job to meet days meet and he had raise him old enough for him to look for a job but after raising her child she slowly wither away. At the age of 17 Ronlad fled to the Southern continent and created a name for himself he led and created the BlueBird Merchant Guild.

Ronald started to clasp his hand and started thinking.

"Just cause." Xarth replied on a casual tone.

'For future things i need the BlueBird Merchant Guild for help so I'll have to put on collar on his neck.Blackmail is the key it's the same method in my world why not apply it here as well.'

"Ha! This bastard." Ronald scoffed at Xarth.

"Why don't you tell me your name so I can relax a little."

"No I want to remain anonymous."

Ronald stood up from his seat and gone out to prepare the stuff that the robe person asked.Xarth started to organize his thoughts.

Hmm since I'm here on Count Barrow's territory might as well get The Drunken Blade. Now that I think about it if I get the sword won't it cause a large change on the story line? In the novel while Zero was traveling to go to the capital he came across a forest it was naturally the Forest of Lila and came across a waterfall to drink some water .Then at that night he saw the waterfall started glowing bright brilliant light that light Brighten out all the area by the waterfall Zero looked toward the waterfall and saw a cave in it so he begun to investigate and yeah he got the sword after that.

'After this I'll get the sword but I'll need some more money to proceed with the plan to get it.Well the plan is to buy a lot of wine for what? You'll see later.'

Ronald came into the room and placed 2 Spatial bag the one was full of stuff while the other was empty on the table.

"All stuff you had asked is in there."

"Hmm..How much storage does the Spatial have?"

"Well enough to fit a 1000 items in it."

Xarth started to smile.

Bern flinched at the man smiling.

'Why's this bastard smiling!?. '

"So how much?"

"It's only 10,000 gold coins."

'Well naturally I'm lying it's only 8,000 gold coins I'll just play a little prank at him. he started it.'

Xarth placed a large pouch on the table.

Ronald's eyes widen well naturally he had not expected a large pouch come out of the robe hooded man. He slowly started to open the pouch it was filled with gold coins,He had never seen a 10,000 in gold coins he only has seen it in on cheque.

Ronald gulped before counting the coins.

"That's is the right amount right?"

"Ahh yes..."

Xarth took the Spatial bag and left the room after commenting.

"I'll visit in some time later." Xarth said with a smile on his face before closing the door.

"That Bastard!"

Xarth signaled Ernoul that his business here is done and they left the building. And headed to the Count's manor. Ernoul's eyes shook to where they were headed.

"Um...Hyung-nim why are we going there?"

"Well it's my home."

"Ha!"

Ernoul let out a Shocked scoff.

They went through the back gate of the mansion there was someone there on the guard post.Naturally it was Bern waiting for the Young master.

"Young master welcome back."  Bern said while having a bright smile on his face.

He then looked toward the young man beside Xarth.

"Young master who is this?" 

"Oh his my future knight please prepare him a room and tell the Captain knight of our territory to let him use the training area. In the mean time I'll talk about this matter with my father."

"Certainly Young master." Bern bowed toward and Xarth and took Ernoul's Arms.

"I'll take care of it Young master."

Bern happily dragged Ernoul to the guest's room

Ernoul looked lost while being dragged by Bern. Xarth ignored the two and walked inside the manor.

Xarth took off his robe and headed quickly to the Count's office.Before coming in he first knocked three times.

"Father It's me Xarth"

"Come in."

Xarth opened the door and walked in a graceful manner.

"Father can i talk with you?"

"Of course take a seat."

Xarth sat and looked at the Count.

"So um..I was out on streets right?"

"Yes Bern told me."

"Well when I was there some people tried to rob me and harm me."

The Count started to frown.

"But luckily someone saved me and i brought him here.I think his good enough to be my guard, I mean he did saved my life"

'I mean i need a reason to bring in Ernoul why not made a story that he saved my life.'

"Hm... Who's the one that attacked you? Did you see their faces?"

"No sorry father."

'Well naturally I mean they don't even exist.'

"No no you shouldn't apologize to me i should be the one apologizing cause I didn't send any guard with you.

"It's alright father it was my choice to have not anyone with me."

"Are you certain that the man you have brought in will not betray you and will protect you with his life."

'Woah with his life so over the top but i guess i gotta take responsibility for him. I was the one who changed his destiny so of course I'll protect him as well.'

"Of course." 

Xarth replied in confident tone.

"Then I'll allow it,I'm glad your safe is that all you have to say?"

"Father i know this is rude but could give me money?"

"No it's not rude at all,Well to be honest I'm kind of happy that you are well behaved these days so I'll give you some ."

"Thank you Father." 

Xarth lowered his head and The Count gave him a cheque. Xarth then quietly left the room.

He then let out a silent sigh.

'That was easy than I thought. Now i gotta find Bern and Ernoul.'

Xarth walked to the knights training area where Ernoul was training his sword there was also Bern watching Ernoul practicing.

"Bern"

Bern looked toward the direction he heard the voice from and quickly ran towards it.

"Yes Young master what can I do for you?"

"How's all the things I told you to do?"

"it's all done Young master."

"Good then I'll make you do something again."

"What is it?"

Xarth threw the spatial bag at Bern and Bern caught it then he started to speak again.

"Buy 1000 Highest Grade wine and put it all in there."

Xarth then gave the cheque to Bern. Bern looked shock at the cheque that Xarth had given him.

Ernoul was also there looking at the two conversing.

"Ohh..I almost forgot that I'll need it before sundown."

"Yes Young master I'll prepare it immediately."

'It's so nice to be a noble.'

Xarth mouth started to form into crescent shape.

Ernoul who was looking at Xarth felt chills as he saw the mischievous smile on Xarth's doll like face.

'How can be a fragile looking person have a smile like that.I mean Hyung-nim was also weird the first time i met him why did he not reveal his identity to the Guild master?'

"Ernoul continue on training before sundown come to my room secretly."

"Yes Hyung-nim."

Xarth walked away from the training ground and gone on up to his room. He casually sat on the couch and started to remember the soon upcoming events that will take place.

He then remembered what was the upcoming event it was on Messiah Kingdom.

In the novel 5 days from now they will held the birthday of the king all the nobles must attend this celebration to pay respect to the king.

The one who'll represent The Count Barrow's territory was supposedly Count Richard but he will be busy financing the territory so he'll send his eldest son to attend it 

Then there will be a terrorist attack or you could say they were the same organization that attacked the Brook Village they will take citizens and nobles as hostage furthermore they planted bombs throughout the ballroom hidden in place,But the novel explained where the bombs were scattered.

Coincidentally Zero our mc was on the vicinity of the ballroom where they held the celebration.He then heard the same scream that he had heard on the Brook Village Zero urgently ran toward the noise to see the same robe that had the Red Claws mark by their chest Zero grit his teeth and took out his sword from his scabbard and Red aura started to rise out from his sword his aura can be seen as a Swordsmaster level the people inside felt hope..Hoping that the terrorist will be destroyed by the young Swordsmaster.

All the robe person was quickly killed but some was able to escape.Some citizens and nobles were killed so it was not much of a victory on their side. Relieved that the unknown men were wiped out the people started to address Zero as the Hero that's the first time the mc will received the medal of honor for his heroic deeds of protecting the citizens with his life on the line.

'So how can I prevent that Harold will be attending the celebration at least for taking Xarth's body i need to protect his family oh..I know I'll just bring Zero in early. He'll wiped out all of the enemies and the story line wouldn't change at all. It's a win win situation.'

Xarth looked out the window to see the Sun slowly started set and Bern was still not here but it was at that moment.

Knock knock knock.

"Come in."

Bern came in with a exhausted looked on his face and slowly walked towards Xarth while panting.

"Huff...Young master Huff... Here's..What you have order.."

Bern handed Xarth the spatial bag full of Wines

Xarth started to smile.

'What a useful item an items that can hold such large amount great job author for creating this.'

"Good work Bern you can rest now."

"Thank you Young master." Bern smiled brightly.

'I knew it The young master has truly changed I've been observing the young master since yesterday and his behavior and the way he act all changed it's like I'm serving a stranger. No no don't think that I think young master really had a change of pace which is a good thing he doesn't whine anymore nor does he throws plate at the servants.'

Bern left the room while having those thoughts on his head.The sun was almost set and Xarth was only waiting for Ernoul to start the mission today.

The mission was looting the Drunken Blade.
