TO DIE WE MUST

So many have died before their time. Yet I live on and try to honor them best I can. We all die, but first we should live. In my life, I’ve seen many things. I’ve seen the sunrises and the sunsets. I’ve heard the whispers of the wind in the trees, the crack of a lightning bolt, thunder, rain and the sweet cry of a newborn child. I’ve been happy beyond belief and sad with unbearable grief. I’ve known passion, love and heartbreak. I’ve known what I thought life was meant to be. So why do I feel there should be more? Such is life! A never-ending search for Heaven on earth. But, God is my Father, Christ my savior. So when I walk through those pearly gates, I know my search will be over.
