Time Travel....

It was a dark stormy night, the monsoon had begun, which meant muddy puddles, people soaking wet everywhere. This included our friend Kayla, It was in the year 2024 and she was returning back from school after a long tiring day. After she reached home, she immediately got into her shower and took a nice warm bath. She surfed the internet to find Steve Mallet. Her idol Steve Mallet had been diagonized with crohn's disease and was very sick. Apparently, he was one of those scientists and researchers who had been trying to time travel from a very long time. Kayla had always loved his work since she was very interested in time travel and fascinated by it even though many people deny the idea of time travelling. She had been researching about it since she was 10 and maintained a tiny diary titled ''THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE'' She was very disappointed and shocked as she read the headline of the news flashing on the tv.

''STEVE MALLET ONE OF THE MOST PROMINENT RESEACHERS HAS BEEN DIAGONIZED WITH CROHN'S DISEASE WILL HE SURVIVE? OR DIE?

Kayla switched of her television and was curious if Steve mallet had discovered the way to time travel. So if Steve mallet was dying this would be her last chance to speak with him. not in person but through a fan letter she started off pretty smooth and she also pinned some of her research papers with the letter.

Within a few days she got a reply stating-''

Ms.Kayla

 ''I 've never net someone as interested in time travel as you, Kayla even though l do not have much time I need to tell you something l don't know who you are but l feel like l can trust you with this mission have time travelled into the future a few months ago and found out that in the year 2050 planet earth will be destroyed due to the negligence of care for planet earth by humans but it can be fixed only if you steal the aqua jewel it is such a jewel invented by the future scientists that if it is immersed in any water body around the world it can rejuvenate planet earth back to life. But the scientists in the past did not l will send you the device soon with a loyal companion.... do make me proud Kayla please millions of lives lie in your hands now.''

Kayla looked horrified how did she even land up in this mess maybe writing a letter to her idol was a bad idea. There was no actual way that Steve Mallet would send her the package, but apparently Steve had proved her wrong when a courier arrived to her house the next specifically for her she opened the box to find a small metal device which was cylindrical in shape and had numbers on it Steve had taped a small letter to the device stating-''

Date/month/year-22/December/2050

''You got this Kayla l know you will surely succeed in this mission.

Kayla gulped as she slowly peeked into the box to find a turtle not an ordinary turtle but a mechanical one with a letter taped on its back stating ''Cubert will be your travel companion for this journey.'' She further flipped the note to find 3 golden rules of time travel:

A. Do not try to bring attention towards yourself a very small step leads to a very big consequence in the future

B. Do as told do not try anything extra.

C. Do not trust anyone.

Kayla knew she couldn't let the world down and set the time machine according to the small piece of paper and soon there came a gush of air and Kayla was pinned to the wall by the force after what felt like forever she landed near a garbage dump she quietly got up and realized she had time travelled soon she found herself staring at A gigantic building she walked in to see it was the department of time travel she stepped inside and immediately crashed because of the rotating gate she woke up to find herself in the library of the time travel department. She browsed through every case file and got tons of information she even found out where the aqua jewel was located but the instructions and all the details in the case fil were Mexican so she struggled a lot trying to read it just then Cubert crawled out of her pocket and translated the entire content in the file to English as Kayla was now able to read the file with ease she even figured out the password for the safe in which the aqua jewel was stored in she sneaked past security and was able to get back the aqua jewel with great happiness she squealed but her squeal was loud enough for the robots to hear and they started chasing her Kayla ran further deeper and deeper into the dark alley but then she realized she could run anymore because a wall had blocked her way as Kayla was about to pass out she saw Cubert transforming into an ultra-mega robot Cubert broke the wall behind Kayla and a lot of water started gushing in Kayla dropped the aqua jewel in the water and passed out.

She woke up to find herself in her living room carpet soaking wet and immediately wrote a letter to Steve and hit the hay.

The next day she saw that she had received a letter from Steve which said: I'm proud of you Kayla and she also found a cheque worth 1,000,000 dollars with this money Kayla studied hard and when she grew up, she opened an institute named the University of time travel.
