The Wise Man

Once upon a time, lived a man with his wife and son in a poor house. Nearby there was a big cave and had a rumour that there was a monster inside the cave. So nobody went inside the cave.

      

One day he found his wife and son kidnapped. Beside his house he found a note with two riddles . "get the things; that is tall when it's young and short when it's old " The man got to know that it was a candle "Get something that has a head and a tail" The man got to know that it was a coin. So he made coins out of wood and painted them gold in colour.

    

He took a candle, the fake coins and an axe. He kept the axe beside the cave and went inside. Suddenly he slipped and reached in front of the monster. He could see his wife and son who were tied up. The man kept the candle and gave the coins to the monster. The monster untied them. The man ran as fast as he could with his family. When he got out of the cave, he took the axe and cut a large tree and blocked the cave and ran to his house. When the monster got to know that the coins were fake he ran to catch the man, but the large tree stopped him. He tried but didn't succeed. So he could never come out again.
