The Two Wheeler Mystery - Part 3

Five minutes passed away swiftly but the knocking did not cease. Deven shook Divyanshi and told in a trembling voice 

----- " Divya , we have to get out of this ! I'm opening the window , don't be afraid !"

----- " But Dada , the Fairy might rebuke you and if ..."

----- " Divya !" , shouted Deven , " It's your mere imagination and fantasy ! Trust me , nothing will happen !"

Divyanshi clutched Deven's arm tightly and closed her eyes. Deven slowly stretched his trembling hands towards the window and opened the window. As soon as he looked out in the dark , he clearly understood that someone was standing outside in the dark , just near the window !

----- " Who is there ? Who are you ?"

A young girl came near the window , she was almost a peer to Divyanshi. The girl looked quite anxious , it seemed as if something was bothering her. Deven was taken aback , by that time Divyanshi had also opened her eyes and she was staring out at wonder !

Deven asked again 

----- " Who are you ? What are you doing here so late at night ?"

Now the unknown girl heaved a deep sigh and said in a low tone

----- " Don't be afraid ! I ... I did not want to disturb you so late at night ! I am Chirasmi , I came here to take back my mother's medicine ."

Deven was startled

----- " Your mother's medicine ? But it is not here !"

----- " Last evening both of you found two bicycles beneath a birch tree and found a bottle with a roll of paper in it ! The paper has a powdery substance and that is my Maa's medicine !"

------ " Oh ! So those bicycles were ... Hey , one minute ! How did you know that your Mother's medicine is with us ? I mean have you come all alone so late at night to find that thing ?"

The girl gave a mysterious smile

----- " I am not alone , my Dada has come here with me ! We both know everything !"

Till then Divyanshi was concealing herself behind Deven , gradually she gathered courage and spoke out in a shivering voice 

----- " Are you a Fairy ? How do you know that your thing is with us ?"

On hearing this question Chirasmi started laughing , a few moments later she told

----- " Oh my God ! Do you really believe in Fairies ? Well I am not a Fairy ! You know , I sensed that I would find it here . Please give it back to me !"

Deven looked at Divyanshi . Divyanshi quickly took the bottle and gave it to the girl.

----- " Here you go !"

The girl seemed to be relieved. " Thank you ", she said , " Maa is suffering from a fatal illness , if she fails to get this medicine on time , she will not survive !"

Divyanshi told

----- " Where do you stay and where is your Dada ?"

----- " I stay in the nearby village and my Dada is waiting for me under that birch tree ! Why don't you both come with me ? I'll introduce you both to him !"

Deven interrupted

------ " Now ? Do you even know the time ?"

------ " Nothing will happen ! Please do come ! Dada will be very happy to see you both !"

The mysterious smile again appeared on Chirasmi's face !
