The twist of fate

So we spent the night talking about our lives and about others. It was a good time pass you know to gossip about the people in our society. The next day Ranjan went to office a little late. She was hurried and on the way in the lobby she bumped into a young man Arjun. Her purse went flying into the air and he caught her in his arms. It was oh so filmy. She went into office and sat on her desk calling up her secretary to usher in the candidates for the interview.

She was mildly surprised to see Arjun. He was an MBA graduate and had won awards in college so she hired him. Arjun asked her out on a coffee date and the next thing she knew he invited her to share his new flat with her. She was tired of living an old hags life with her friend and room partner Mumu didi so she agreed and in a couple of months she got married to Arjun and had left her boring life to an exciting one with parties and cricket matches and horse racing.
