The Trick

Once there was a boy named Jim and his friends- Rio, James and Danny. They were good friends. One day they all including Jim, his mother and father and Rio, James & their mother and father, Danny’s mother and father went on cruise for two days . When they reached on

the ship they went inside their own rooms. At night during dinner time while everyone was having their dinner, Jim got up to wash his hands, he found a golden card below captain’s chair. He picked the card and took it with him.

At morning when Jim woke up, he showed the card to Rio, James and Danny and said “it is our secret, do not tell anyone.” During breakfast the four friends asked their mother that, can they go and see the whole ship. YES said their mothers. Initially they were very happy, when they reached at the bottom of ship but as they looked around, they found that it was not the real bottom of the ship as it was a rectangle shape. After looking around they saw a small box with small horizontal slot, fixed on the wall. Looking at slot in box, it came to Jim’s mind, that what will happen if he inserts the in slot in the box. Jim decided to give a try and inserted the card in slot. A small door opened with a creepy sound, beside the box in wall.

They went inside & suddenly the door got closed by itself. They went ahead and suddenly Rio shouted loudly as a ghost came in front of him. Looking at him everyone was frightened as it was scary. They all requested ghost to leave them. But Ghost was not ready to listen to them. After lot of pleading and persuasion, the ghost said, “If you will answer my two riddles correctly, you will be free from here but if you are wrong you will have to stay here with me forever.” Looking at no option all boys agreed to it.

He said here are the riddles

1.    Mike’s father has 3 kids, Name of two is Tom and Sam, who is the third.

Jim immediately said “Mike”.

2.    What is the name of this ship.

       Rio said “Laurantis”

The ghost got impressed and set them free. When they return back they asked the captain what the ghost was doing on ship. “The ghost was me, it was my idea to check, how much smart you are?” Everybody was shocked hearing this. He further added “How you like my TRICK”
