The Piracy Bay

Once there was a very dreadful pirate named Sultan who controlled the Bay of Bengal. He looted every other ship which passed through his area. The fear of Sultan was such that the area under his control began to be known as 'The Piracy Bay'.

One day he and his men caught a big ship. In the ship the captain had his family. Besides his wife and two young sons, the captain had a young and beautiful daughter.

Sultan felt a soft corner for this girl and straightforward as he was, he proposed to marry her!

The girl's father did not say anything in fear of his and his family's lives. However the girl said that she cannot marry a plunderer!

Sultan pondered a little and then said that he would leave piracy and would do merchant business henceforth, if she would trust him and enter into marital relationship with him!

The girl thought for a moment and then agreed!

Sultan left piracy after that and started doing business after that. Some of his men who did not like this, left him. Others worked for him in his merchant ship.

Thus, the Piracy Bay was transformed into merchant bay with large number of merchant ships ferrying in the area.
