He was full of positive vibes after getting the appointment letter. A reputed corporate house appointed him as an assistant manager of one of its branches. The salary was unexpectedly so good for a beginner like him that he was on cloud nine dancing with joy. Within a week he prepared his bucket list as he would soon be able to earn money and none could stop him from fulfilling all that he noted down.

Being the single child of his family, he was highly pampered, supported and protected. 'His lifelong progress' was the main wish in the prayer of his parents and grandparents. What he aspired for, what was destined to him, everything he must get in his life. He was an avid book reader. His interest lied mainly in a book that motivated him to achieve the impossible. That was a manuscript gifted to him by his mother when he was preparing for his class 10 board exams.

The handwritten manuscript was not printed, so not in paperback form because the anonymous author never sent it to any publisher. He/she might be unsure of its acceptance by readers and its worth in the market. On their birthday he was informed that the novel was with his mother since she was a college student. She loved to read books and usually bought them from a roadside bookstall owner whose source of income was to buy books in kilos and sold them per piece to the readers. The manuscript was sold to the owner by the writer perhaps and his mother picked it up.

The title of the novel was “Miracles Do Happen” and the entire story revolved around a boy who was a poor orphanage but he loved to talk to the universe every morning at 4 am. A temple pandit had inspired him to be an early riser. He said, “Gods travel to the Earth every day at Brahma Muhurta which is of two hours 3.30 to 5.30 and listen to those who are awakening. Whatever you desire to have you can say it to them. If your wishes are not against humanity and are pure, it will surely be granted.”  So each day the little boy woke up and prayed, “God does make the day favourable for me”. And a miracle happened to him. He was adopted by a rich Australian couple and shifted abroad. Later he became a world-famous business tycoon.

The appealing storey encouraged him to get up at Brahma muhurta and with folded hand prayed to God to make his life successful. He attended the office and soon got promoted to a higher level. His dedication, hard work and progressive outlook were well appreciated by the seniors in the company. One evening he felt uneasiness and was admitted to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a rare disease. The chances of survival were only 40%. He underwent surgery and his family was told that 24 hours were crucial for him. His mother whole night didn’t sleep and was busy with some recording. The next morning, she was ready with an audio version of the manuscript. With the doctor’s permission, it was played in the room where he was lying unconsciously. Miracle happened. He came out of danger.

When he returned home, he asked the mother what made her think of recording the content and how she was sure that it would save his life. She smiled and answered, “This book has saved you not once but twice. When you’re in school, till class 9 your average academic performance was a serious issue for us. I thought of writing a story that turned into a novel in six months. That manuscript I gifted you and fortunately, it transformed your life. “

“What! Are you that anonymous writer? Why didn’t you say me earlier?”

“If you knew about it, then definitely you could never take it seriously.”

“Oh! Ma! You are my saviour.”

“Yes! Mothers are next to gods who are available to fulfil children’s desire anytime.”

She kissed his forehead and he decided to add one more activity in the Brahma muhurta. The next day, as usual, he woke up at 4 am, did his morning prayer and in reverence touched his mom’s feet. His gesture was indicating that he bowed his head in front of a deity.
