The Inky Hell

Introduction

You would be thinking that going on a picnic in the hills would be good on a sunny day with watermelons, ice-creams, etc. But, if at night, the campfire goes out, and you were listening to horror stories, and the bushes were moving because of a creature, then how would you feel? Today read this story about strange hills, which are free for spirits and visitors.

Beware of the inky hills.

Characters- Kuro, Ivy, Yasuaki, Jack, Robert, John, Harry, Alice, Boris, Jeff, Lily, Franklin, David, Sister Theresa, Emma, ink demon.

Chapter 1- Old memories.

(Part 1)

Ring! Ringggg! Went Yasuaki’s alarm. I am late for the office!

Kuro! Kuro! Kuro? Said Ivy to wake Kuro.

Bang! Ouch! Said, Robert. What’s the time mother?

Aah! I think I drank too much cocktail last night! Said Jack.

I think I woke up too early so let’s sleep on the tree. Said, John.

Oh no! I promised my friend that if I will not come to play Golf with him then I have to give 5 Dollars to him! Said, Harry.

Yasuaki and Kuro were best friends in school. Yasuki loved to grow hair like girls in college but Kuro thought that he looked weird. Kuro was Ivy’s small sister and loved to read books on Biology and Geography. Harry, Robert, and John loved Golf and wanted to become Golf champions. After graduation. Jack did not get any jobs so he decided to become a [Bboy] and started to go to pubs. They all were friends.

One day, Kuro decided to call Yasuaki because she was having his contact number. She called Yasuaki.

Chapter 2- Yasuaki’s planning

Ringgg! Ringgg! Hey! Did I bring my alarm clock with me? Oh, it's my mobile phone. Hello. Hello Yasuaki! Sorry I did not recognize you. Yasuaki it's me Kuro! Oh, Kuro its really you! But, how did you get my contact number? Oh, Yasuaki! Don’t you remember that during your graduation you gave me your contact number? My memory is weak. Uh, Yasuaki! What Kuro? Ok so are you planning a picnic? You read my mind! Where are we going? The hills. Oh, I am going to the hills after a long period of time! Oh really! Oh. I think we shall also call Robert, John, Jack and your elder sister Ivy too! Do you have such a large bike and equipment for so many people? Who said that we will go on a bike and I will carry everyone’s equipment? We will go in my jeep and everyone will carry their own equipment.

Harry, Robert, and Jack reached the Golf court.

Finally! They all shouted together.

They were not aware that the Golf court belongs to Yasuaki’s company and the pub in which Jack goes every weekend.

Jack and Yasuaki saw them and yelled at them not knowing that they are best buddies. Yasuaki and Jack got to know about the land and then understood that they had already met. Yasuaki told them about the plan. Kuro had already told her elder sister about the picnic. She said that she will make lunch for everyone. Kuro will plan the location for the picnic and we will do all the settings.

Chapter 3- Traveling

I think we are ready! Said, Robert. Now, let me check that everything is settled or not. Said Ivy. Kuro you found the location. Yes, the landmark is the Empire hotel. But we will not go over there. We will go to the nearby hills! Said Kuro and Harry.

Jack and John took the grill and the Golf set. Yasuaki filled the oil tank and Ivy took the tent and all the other equipment. Jack shouted suddenly. Oh no! We missed one more thing. John asked, what is missed? Our potato chips. Jack, Robert and John started to dance and sang, “potato chips!” The jeep’s ready! Shouted Yasuaki. It was from 2:00 p.m. Time for lunch! Everyone was hungry. What have you made this time? Kuro asked Ivy. She answered I made Ramen noodles, Momos, Rice and Rice-balls. And potato chips! Yelled Jack, Robert, and John.

Oh, this is the third landmark telling us that we are going right! But when will we reach? Yasuaki was excited but Kuro and Ivy were bored and repeating again and again, when will we reach the Empire Hotel? We reached the third last landmark. Said John and Jack together. Kuro was excited but Ivy was still bored. Finally! We reached the Empire Hotel!

Chapter 4- The settings

I don’t think that we missed something. Ivy said. But we missed someone. John said standing in a corner. Kuro asked, what are you saying? Harry is still sleeping in the car! I am here. Harry appeared out of the car with the Grill and there Golf set. Potato chips! They sang once again. Yasuaki was getting angry. He yelled, what the h**l is wrong with you!? Yasuaki never used to say bad words like these. Harry was shocked and he threw all the potato chips on his face. Yasuaki crushed the chips and threw it on the Empire Hotel. Harry took the grill, turned it on and threw it on his face saying, your face shall be grilled like a potato chip. Yasuaki took a sandwich and used it to guard his face. The fight ended when Kuro yelled at them and said, will you both stop fighting because it is evening and we have to set the tents before Dusk! Ok, sorry! Both apologized to each other and continued fighting. It was midnight and Robert woke up. He was feeling hot in the tent. He said, what the h**l is going on over here? He saw that Harry was grilling the sandwiches in the tent. Robert asked him, why are you inside the tent? He answered it is cold outside. You can warm yourself with the help of the Grill. When he saw him, he saw that his eyes were black and his hair was growing in every 3 seconds. He quickly called 911 but they were not receiving his call. So he quickly took a heavy Golf club and tried to break Harry’s head. He made Harry faint. He tied Harry with ropes and slept in the tent leaving Harry out tied by a tree.

Chapter 5- Harry’s mystery

(Part 2)

He woke up and saw that everyone was gathered together. When they saw Harry, they took a Golf club and were ready to attack Harry. They shouted, dare if you do something! Harry asked, what are you talking about? Robert told us what you tried to do with Robert. What and when I tried to do with him? You tried to attack me with forks and knives. No. Why would I attack you with forks and knives and then you fainted me with a heavy Golf club. That actually happened at midnight and it happened as you are saying. I think that means Robert is right. Kuro said. Yasuaki was also reacting like this yesterday when we arrived. Yes, he was also reacting like this. Let’s don’t sleep this night and see who acts in that way. Jack said the plan loudly.

Chapter 6- The tent

At night, they all were awake with candles in their hands. They tried not to act in a way like Harry and Yasuaki acted. It was from 11:45 p.m. They all decided to turn on the Grill and take a Golf club in their hands so they could defend themselves. Suddenly they heard a scream from the other hills nearby. Suddenly they saw that a storm is coming towards them. John shouted, hold the tent tightly! They all were scared. The tent was going to break. After the storm stopped, they saw that the tent’s rods were broken and the tent was also torn from everywhere. They decide that they will buy a new tent. Yasuaki came by afternoon with two spare tents. He said I think we shall go and check the hills from where the noise was coming, yesterday during the storm. Jack replied we would need some weapons because we don’t know that what’s lurking in the hills. Robert was also with me so he decided to purchase some crowbars. Kuro was talking with Ivy. She said I think we shall also take the Grill and the pan, and more cooking tools. John was ready with the Golf clubs. Everything was ready for going to the nearby hills.

Chapter 7- The nearby hills

It was from 5:35 p.m. Everyone was ready with their weapons and equipment. John was scared because he watched too many horror movies. By the time they reached the hills, they heard the same screams. Robert said, everybody stop! The noise is coming from here. Everyone was ready to attack with their crowbars. Harry threw his crowbar in the direction from where the screams were coming from. They saw a black sticky substance as thin as blood. Kuro said it’s the blood of an animal. Something’s stinking! Shouted Jack. When they saw, they saw that a deer was dead. Robert said, so we were scared of this dead deer. Ivy answered, then what about the screams, the behavior, and the storm? They suddenly, the screams started to come from behind them. They saw Harry with his mouth wide open with a wicked smile on his face with the black liquid covering his smile. Robert returned to the camp. Jack threw the Grill on his face and tried to damage Harry’s jaw. He succeeded but it just stunned him. Harry tried to attack when Robert came and attacked his throat so he faints. Everyone locked Harry and he fainted.

Chapter 8-The black smiles     

Kuro said someone has to make him bleed. When Harry woke up, he saw John with a crowbar in his hand, ready to break Harry’s head. Aaah! What the h**l are you trying to do with me!? Harry yelled. John replied Kuro said to me to make you bleed. Didn’t you say that Kuro? Kuro replied I said to make him bleed but not to break his head like a coconut! Jack took a knife and used it on Harry’s arm. His blood seemed a little dark. Robert said I think that you are now prey to that kind of blood. Ivy said I think we shall we should check everyone’s blood group with this blood group checking machine.

Reports are ready! Kuro said. Harry’s blood group was not been shown on the machine. I think we shall be beware of the black smiles.

Chapter 9- Hot ink and tree branches

(Part 3)              

It's just like ink. Said, Harry. Ivy asked it can never be ink. I think that its ink. Kuro said. Impossible! Shouted John. It is possible because we got some ink pots lying beside the deer. I think if we put the blood into the inkpot and try to burn it then we can do something. Said Ivy. Burning ink is weird. We shall try it. They were ready to fill the inkpot with the burnt ink. Everybody stays back. Said Kuro. A small explosion made the bottle break. Sudden silence. What happened John? Oh no. What happened Robert? I think the smile occurred John’s body. Jack quickly grabbed a tree branch which they were going to use for burning a campfire. He lit up a fire and made a torch. Some of the ink fell on the ground stuck to the branch and made the fire go out. The ink was getting hotter and hotter. Just attack the smile somehow! Shouted Robert. Harry attacked John with a Golf club but it did not damage him. When Jack attacked him with the branch which was having hot ink stuck on it, the smile instantly vanished from John’s face. I think that hot ink is a weapon to defeat them. Said a strange and soft voice along with a heavy voice.

Chapter 10- Two precious partners

Alice and Boris! Everyone shouted together. Alice loved nature and photography. Boris was her companion. What happened to you and how are you here? Asked Robert. One day when we were clicking photos, suddenly a man came and said, this location is good for painting. I said this place is so beautiful that every photographer would like to come here but not on the hill that the painter is standing. It is a wicked land for painting said, Boris. Boris and the man started to fight. Somehow, Boris killed the man. The painter’s spirit now is in the nearby hills and now comes for its prey in these hills. If he sees anyone then he makes that person its prey. He does not like people in his area and talking about his hills. How to defend ourselves? Asked Boris to Alice. I think we can use hot ink to damage him. That’s a good idea. Said Ivy to Robert. But how will we get more ink? Asked Kuro to be confused. First, we have to do something so we can defend ourselves and we can get to know where he is. Hot ink is for attacking. Said, Robert. I have a night vision on my camera. Said Alice. What is night vision? Asked John. It is a mode in a camera by which we can see the things which we can’t see with our eyes. How to defeat him? Asked Jack. Nice question Jack. If we destroy his paintings with a crowbar or ax having the hot ink which is found in these hills, then we can defeat him. Answered Alice.

Chapter 11- The hunt

I think we shall go in the afternoon. Said Ivy. We will return till sunset. Answered Harry. They all were ready to go to the nearby hills. He comes out to hunt in our hills after sunset. So we have to try to reach our tent before sunset. Said Alice. Does he sleep for the rest of the day? Asked Yasuaki. He comes out to hunt in his hills after midday. Answered Boris. We have to make groups know more about him. Kuro and Yasuaki first group, Jack and Harry's second group, I and Robert third group, and John and Ivy fourth group. Said Alice. How will we communicate with other groups? I purchased some phones too because I thought that we will need it. Said, Robert. Every group was carrying one phone, one crowbar and one branch with hot ink. Boris suddenly popped out of the bushes. Robert said I think its midday. Ringggg! Ringgggg! What the h**k is going on? Did I bring my alarm clock with me? Said Yasuaki. Oh, its Robert’s call. Hello Robert. Pass my message to everyone. The hunt begins now. Be careful, the spirit is coming to hunt. Yasuaki passed the message to all the groups. Jack and Harry were searching for the spirit. We forgot to bring hot ink. It is okay. Said Harry and Jack each other. Hoooooooeeeeeee. It’s the wind Yasuaki, don’t get scared. I think that it is not the wind but the terror of ink. What do you mean by that? Asked Kuro. Please be quiet for a moment because the spirit is here to hunt us but we have to hunt the spirit. Take that you smile! Shouted Yasuaki in anger. Oh no. I think I just killed an ink deer. Ringgg! Ringggg! Hey, Yasuaki, it is me, Harry. Do you have some ink? We need some. If you have then please pass it to me. I just killed an ink deer. Oh shit. The worst spirit is coming at the worst time.

Chapter 12-The ink demon

(Part 4)

Boom! Boris came with a crowbar with the hot ink. Thanks, Boris! Shouted Yasuaki. Soon it will be the time for sunset. I think we shall go back to our hills. Everybody, on the count of three, all have to run as fast as you can. Commanded Robert. One, two, three, Run! Ready with the crowbars!? Said, Harry. Harry and John threw their crowbars with hot ink. Everybody was in a tent with hot ink in their hands. The ink demon did not come also after 3 hours. How much time will you take? Said Yasuaki yawning. Patience Yasuaki patience. Said Kuro and Ivy. Anybody there? We are here John no jokes. Said, Robert. It was not me. I think that it’s the pink demon. He trapped us also like this. Said Alice.

Chapter 13- Mountain climbers, Photographers, and Cooks

Boom! What the h**l is going in these hills?! Shouted Yasuaki in anger. Jeff!? Shouted everyone. The ink demon captured us and now we only have one bowl of rice, one bottle of orange juice, one small and one big knife and 12 pots of hot ink. Said Jeff gasping for air. What do you mean by us? And what are you doing in these hills bro? Asked Kuro and Yasuaki. The same question I shall ask you. Jeff answered, as you all know that I and Lily wanted to become a chef, so we came here to search for some fresh fruits for a fruit salad. So that time, we saw that ink is coming from somewhere and from then only the ink demon is hunting for us. Now we have only 12 hot ink pots left with us. Again what do you mean by us? Asked Robert. Oh sorry, Lily, Franklin, and David are also with us. Said Jeff happily. Hey and I think that 12 hot ink pots are not enough. Said Alice. I think that we shall sleep for now. Said, Harry. The next morning, everybody was ready to go again in the nearby hills according to the timings they settled on the previous day. Robert explained the plan to everybody. Alice, I, Jack, Franklin, Yasuaki and Ivy in one group and Harry, John, Boris, Lily, Jeff, David and Kuro in the other group. I will be the leader of the first group and Jeff will be the leader of the second group. Said Robert quietly. Everybody agreed with the plan. Are we going without any type of equipment? Asked John. We have our hot ink pots and crowbars. Said, Harry. Everybody was finding the ink demons paintings. Got any clue? Asked Robert to Jeff. No clues till now. Don’t kill any deer this time Robert. Said Jeff. It is not your problem, it is my problem! Shouted Robert in anger. 5 hours passed but they got only 2 clues. The ink demon is coming. What the h**l? I can see it! Said, Robert. Describe it. Questioned Jeff. Robert answered, it is all black in color, it has 16 inches large teeth, and it is coming to hunt us! Run!

Chapter 14- Death time

What the h**l are these hills! Shouted Jeff. They ended in a third hill. Was there a third hill also near these two wicked hills? I think these are the empire hills that belong to the manager of the Empire hotel. Answered Boris. Don’t they have any property over here? Asked lily. Robert answered I don’t think so that they have any property. Now shut up your h**l like mouth and think what we need to do in this third h**l like hills. Shouted David in anger. They walked for half an hour and they finally found a structure. Hey, see! I can see something like a structure! Shouted John in excitement. What’s written here? Asked Jack. Robert read it out, “Summer camp for ST. Therea school.” Is that really a summer camp? Suddenly they saw a small trail of fresh blood. Hey! Is that blood? Asked Lily. Kuro answered, I think it’s fresh blood and it is coming from behind. They turned around and they saw John dead on the floor. John! Shouted Harry. I think that the ink demon is around us somewhere. Answered Boris. Hey, I think that we shall check that what’s inside the summer camp. Said Jack. I think that there would be a church as it is a summer camp for the Christian school. Answered Robert. I and Lily will be outside to see if anybody is coming. You all go inside. Answered Alice to Robert. Everybody was inside the camp and heard a strange voice which said, Oh Lord Jesus, which sin I have done? Oh, all-mighty please take off the curse on me and protect me from all evil, Amen. Who’s in there? We need help. Said Kuro politely. After some time they started the introduction with a church’s nun named Thereasa. This school was named after I was born. It was the school’s 26th year so we decided to take the children to a new summer camp. Suddenly the evil spirit known as an ink demon attacked all the people and only I am left alone in the church. It’s good that you all came here because I cannot think how to finish the ink demon. I think that holy water will work. Said thereasa. Let’s go and check what’s going outside. Said, Harry. What the h**l?! They found Lily dead near Alice’s legs. I think that the ink demon was here when I was sharpening my dagger. Said Alice. Jack asked When you got this dagger? Alice answered I got this in the bushes so I decided to take this with me as I did’ not have any weapon at that time. I think we shall sleep in the church tonight as the ink demon would be coming out for hunting. Jeff said yawning, Good morning everybody! Yasuaki was right. These hills are inky h**l!!! They found everybody dead on the church floor except Robert, Jeff, Jack, Alice, Boris and Nun Thereasa.

 Chapter 15- Ink, ink and only Ink

I think that we shall get out of here before we are also in the ink demon. Said, Boris. You are already in the hands of the ink demon. Said Alice. Nun Thereasa questioned Alice, What do you mean by that? Alice answered her, the ink demon sent me to bring you all till here in the trap of the ink demon. I killed the real Alice and I got into her body! Now see my real form. My name is Emma! My partner died in these hills but you killed me also! Said Emma in a very heavy voice. Alice’s dead body fell on the ground and her body was going inside the ground. They saw in their brains that trillions of bodies were covered with cold and sticky ink and buried inside the hills. They saw that Emma’s spirit was having red bleeding eyes, her clothes were covers with cold and sticky ink and her white hair was flying in the air. Thereasa you read the bible and show Emma the locket in your neck, I will throw hot ink on her, Robert and Jack will throw stones with hot ink and Boris will warm up all the ink we have. Said Jeff. It was midday and they caused a lot of damage to Emma. Suddenly Emma disappeared in thin air and she was defeated. We shall run back to the school camp and hide somewhere in a classroom. Said Jack. Nun Thereasa said I know a place where we can stay safe. The summer camp has a basement in which the children were having their lunch, the beds were there and they used to practice shooting. They went to the basement and got some shotguns. They decided to give the ammos a coating of hot ink and make ammos of hot ink. They saw a book on the floor and there were arrows made inside it. Robert and others started to follow the arrows. They ended up in a large cave. The cave was having five ways in it. Everybody chose one path and after 1 hour 30 minutes, they met at the same point. They saw a wooden cabinet and decided to open it. When they opened it,… boom! A lot of cold and sticky ink came out of it. This is the real h**l for me. Said Jack.

Chapter 16- Escape from inky hell

(The final chapter)

They woke up in the school’s summer camp with the book lying beside them. It was having different arrows. They once again followed the arrows and ended up in their camp. But the hills were different. There was a board which said, Inky Hell. They saw that there was only and only ink in the hills. I told you that it’s an inky h**l. Said Jack angrily. Keep all those things aside and just see what is in front of us. Probably it would be the ink demon’s home. Said, Robert. They saw large machines from which only and only ink was flowing out of it and all the Ink made the ink demon come alive. Mother Thereasa was having a locket with hot ink on it she showed it to the ink demon. The ink demon was getting warmer and warmer. Finally, the ink demon exploded and the hills started to shake. They got into Yasuaki’s jeep and escaped from the inky hell. They told this to the news reporters. And from that day the hills were known as the inky Hell.
