The Door that Led to The Unknown World

I closed my eyes and turned by face towards the heavy and bitter wind. Seeing shattered pieces of glass and burnt pieces of wood on this side of the fading world, I wondered if I was battling with a nightmare or facing the bizarre reality of how the circumstances were slowly yet rapidly changing. All things gone, leaving behind just a door.

Hazel in colour, it stood out most from all that was left. Where it led or what purpose it served was completely unknown. The strong wind, coming from the contrary side of the broken world danced, so as to tempt. A deserted path of life, leading into a heaven, a concealed heaven showed everything and nothing at the same time.
