The Deadly Painting

Raju's grandfather once bought a painting of a woman from a shop. After the death of Raju's grandmother he was staying alone in his room. He installed the painting in a corner of the room.

Soon enough Raju and his parents could hear Raju's grandfather talking with the painting. This went on for some days.

Then Raju's parents took the painting and kept it in a separate room. However Raju's grandfather stopped eating food after that. Hence they had to reinstall the painting there.

Slowly Raju's grandfather became ill and weak. One day as he was looking and talking with the painting, a lady appeared from the painting . As she came near Raju's grandfather, her face changed from Raju's grandmother to someone else. Raju's grandfather asked who she was.

Then she told her tale. She was a model and use to pose for photo drawings and got money from the painters. One painter asked her to marry him. When she refused, he became violent with anger and killed her by stabbing with a knife.

Then he collected her blood in a utensil and began drawing her painting with her own blood!

She died a slow and painful death! She said that she needs blood on every amavasya night, as she was killed on a amavasya! So she would come and drink Raju's grandfather's blood on that day !

Saying so, she disappeared!

Raju's grandfather's condition deteriorated. He wanted to say ,to take that painting away but couldnot do so. Atlast that amavasya day arrived!

The ghost of that lady arrived at night and opened her mouth to drink the blood. The next morning, Raju's grandfather was found dead in his bed.

All his belongings were disposed off including the painting.The real reason of the death of Raju's grandfather was however never known to the family!
