The Craziest Day At School

I woke up lazily for school after I heard my mother calling for me. I had gone to an extraordinary party yesterday and had so much fun. My eyes were drooping and I had immediately fallen off to sleep. I was guessing that I was late for school, so I ate my breakfast and changed very quickly. I walked to my bus stop and while I was boarding the bus, a man briskly walked past me and his bag brushed against me. I was about to sit down when the bus suddenly started moving and I was jerked backwards. Usually the bus would not move till everyone was seated. I realized that the driver would not have seen me properly, so I stopped worrying. After some time, my friend boarded the bus and I tried to wave to her.

It was very strange, but she seemed to look through me. I stared biting my lip as an eerie feeling came over me. I tried to go and sit next to her, but she put her bag there. I wondered if she was just ignoring me. I called out her name and she looked behind and again looked past me. My grip tightened and I bit my lower lip till I felt it was going to bleed.

I experienced the same with all my friends. When I reached school, I realized that people could hear me but could not see me. I knew that I had turned invisible.

At school, when our teacher was taking attendance, some one said I was absent. My blood boiled under my skin and I kicked the desk. Everyone turned to look but they were baffled as they could not see anyone. I planned to have some fun. I pulled my best friend’s hair and she shrieked and frantically looked behind. I wanted to say sorry but that would be even worse as she might start to scream, thinking that there was a ghost. I did not go down for PE as I knew that nobody would give me a turn. Instead I relaxed in my chair and finished whatever was done in class. I could not write when class was going on, as it would nearly give people heart attacks so see a pen writing on a paper by itself.

After the craziest day at school when I boarded the bus, a hundred questions came to my mind and my heart started beating at 100 mph. I asked myself what my mother would do when I would not come out of the bus at my bus stop. I realized that I had to think who made me invisible. I thought until my brain felt like bursting and realized that it was the man with the big, ebony black bag. I know I had to find him somehow.

When I reached my bus stop and came out of the bus, I saw the man and tried to stealthily approach him. Yes! I did it. I quickly brushed my arm past his bag. My mom saw me and came running to me asking how I came out of the buss without being seen. I just told her that I would explain everything in the car as I was scared that my friends would see me. I sank into the seat of the car and told her everything but then of course, she would not believe it!
