The Cat and the Parrot

The Cat and the Parrot

Once there lived a parrot in a house. He was happy feeding on large chunks of food in the house.

One day a mouse came to live there. He was happy to get good food after many days.

However, the parrot was unhappy. He asked the mouse to leave the house. The mouse disagreed.

They began to quarrel. This was heard by a cat living in the neighborhood. It came near them and enquired what the matter was.

The parrot and the mouse began to narrate their tale. The cat was a crooked fellow. She acted as if she was having a hearing problem and asked the parrot and the mouse to come closer.

But as soon as the duo came closer, the cat grabbed both the parrot and the mouse and ate them!

Thus the moral of the story is that we should solve our problems ourselves. When we take our problems in public, then the third party takes advantage of it.
