Monica was struggling through one of the toughest times in her life. She just resigned from her job few days back. It was a nightmare. She was not at all happy with the way things were happening at her past office. She had to work more than twelve hours in a day and sometimes it extended to thirteen hours or so during the critical times. It happens. Life is not same always.

As a person, Monica was a reserved person as well. She wouldn’t be always getting close to people unless she finds people who were of the same frequency as her. It always took time for Monica to become close to people and friendly so definitely she had less friends in her neighborhood and also workplace. She preferred to spend time alone in a day. She believed that it was really important for any person to dedicate time for herself/himself in a day. And she thought there was always a difference between “Being alone” and “Being lonely”.

The next day Monica was busy in interviews-going and reviewing jobs on internet, newspapers and job portals. She was finding very hard to land up in a job.

That evening she went down the Charles Lane to the nearby café for a coffee. She sat down with the coffee and her papers and kept listening to the music that was played. It was live music that was played every evening. She kept visiting every evening now to listen to the music. The music kept her alive with the chores she had. She starting loving the voice. She never really looked up to the vocalist.

That day was her day! She got the good news with a job offer with an advertising agency and she had to join the venture in fifteen days. The pay was also self-sufficient for her and her dog. She decided to visit her café again today and celebrate this day.

The voice was changed. An old lady was singing an old French song, playing the guitar. It was not him. She felt that she should have walked up to see him. She felt a difference. She decided she should ask the vocalist details from the Café owner.

And she wondered there was always a difference between “Being alone” and “Being lonely”. She smiled. Was this a feel towards the feeling of “Being in Love”? She wondered again.
