The Black Magic

Ramesh lived with his family in some hill station. During school summer off, he went to his village with his parents to enjoy the holidays. He was in 12th standard. His village was very beautiful, covered with greenery, beautiful lakes, temples and much more. After reaching village with his parents, he was very happy to meet his relatives. Every day he used to go out with his village friends to play and enjoy and returned to his home late in the evening. His parents often warned him that returning in afternoon is safer in that village. It is because there is a family in the village that does black magic. Many children of the village disappeared while playing in the evening and people of the village only suspect that evil family. It is because many such incidences had happened in the past where the doubt on that family was 100% sure. But evil people also have tact to save themselves from police and court, even if they have done severe crime. So, villagers never had a chance to catch them live performing evil rituals and hence they were having no proof of their crime.

One evening Ramesh visited his friend Varun's home to invite him to play cricket in playground. Varun agreed and both of them decided to go to their other friend's homes and invite them also to play collectively. As planned, all of them went to the playground and started playground. That day Ramesh was playing more aggressively. Most of the times he hit his friends badly while batting. His friends were also surprised to see this aggressive attitude. As the game was over in the late evening, all of them decided to go back to their homes. But the parents of children were very concerned when the children did not reach on time, and it was getting darker. All the parents went to the sarpanch of the village. Sarpanch listened to their concern thoroughly and called Ramesh immediately. As said, Ramesh immediately visited sarpanch's home. Sarpanch said," Ramesh, you took all the children of the village to play cricked in the afternoon. You are back to your home safely. Now tell me where are rest of the children of the village?' Ramesh was shocked listening to this. He said," Sarpanch Sahab, I did not visit anyone's home." Hearing this the sarpanch immediately understood the matter. He said,"We are in deep trouble Ramesh. The evil family of the village knew that you are new in this village and closer to the children. I am 100% sure, it is some kind of black magic done by that evil family. Let us visit their place, we are not going to leave them today."

All the villagers visited the place of the evil family. The door was locked. As sarpanch enquired the neighbors, he came to know that they took the boy to the nearby river in the village. All of them rushed towards the river. There they saw that some kind of Black Magic was being done by that evil family. The unconscious body of Varun was lying on the ground and circle of fire was covering that body. Just besides that body, the head of the evil family was performing some evil ritual by chanting some evil mantra. Looking at him the sarpanch said, "You evil family. You are a curse on this village. Today all of us are going to kill you so that you no longer create problem for anyone."

The head of the evil family said,"Ha,Ha,Ha, Sarpanch, earlier also I have killed many children of this village. The total count is 99. If I kill this last 100th boy and drink his blood, I will become immortal. You cannot stop me." The sarpanch was shocked to hear that the evil person has not only killed the children but drank their blood also. Sarpanch was an intelligent man. He knew that if the evil ritual is stopped in the middle, its effect reverses on the person initiating the ritual. That sarpanch told all the villages to pour water on the fire of the evil yagna which the evil family was performing. The villagers did exactly the same. Same thing happened as the sarpanch thought.

As the villagers poured water on the fire of yagna, a burning skull emerged out of the fire of it and ate all the members of that evil family. All of them died there and then. The sarpanch said, "All of you villagers, see this right in front of your eyes. Who so ever involves in evil practices like black magic, one day becomes the victim of his own magic and dies in agony."

After that the villagers went to the evil family's home and set their house of fire. That ashes of the house were later drowned in the sacred river of the village. The village pries performed some yagna at that place also so that any evil spirit should not haunt that area. Finally, the village was free from the black magic of the evil family.
