"Rishabh dude, this new book I read yesterday is insane. Like dude, truly insane. Haven't really read anything like this before. Woah!"

Priya was still in awe of the book which she had read, as she spoke with her best friend, Rishabh.

Although, as per her, she had been done with reading the book yesterday, Rishabh could still see that she was overwhelmed with its content. That's Priya for you. So much in love with books, but Rishabh got disturbed by it at times. It was truly absurd for him to understand why she seemed to consider herself a part of the book which she's read.

As though sticking to that character, not just by words of a few quotes here and there, but also by minor actions.

And the funny part was, he never really saw those books which Priya enjoyed, he only heard her narrating those stores to him.

"Bro, don't you want to listen to the summary?", Priya asked with an expectant look in her eyes.

"Priya, man, at least show me those books of yours once, all I ever hear is a summary."

As he had expected, Priya deflected Rishabh's question skillfully, and with an enthusiastic face started narrating the story.

"Oh, just you listen Rishabh. This is about a serial killer. How she begins with her pursuits, like what exactly pushed her into killing people. It's like, she has visions of the person she kills in her dreams, and then, she kills that person the same way she saw in her dreams."

"But you know the sad part, this was not a complete book, there's an upcoming sequel. And I so can't wait for it."

Priya squealed the last part with excitement.

Though Rishabh could feel her excitement, he could not help but be horrified with her story.

"Man, Priya, you need to stop reading such gruesome books, serial killers and murderers and stuff like that. Don't you think?"

"Come on Rishabh, don't be a scaredy cat now. That stuff's interesting.", Priya stated firmly, scoffing at Rishabh for his warnings.

"No, not for normal people like us. We get scared. Anyway, I need to get done with my assignments. You must be done with yours."

Priya nodded.

"See you later, man. I am leaving."

"Bye.", Priya waved at him.

While staring at his retreating figure, she then mumbled to herself, almost as though caught up in a trance.

"Dude, Rishabh, you are so right. That stuff is sure crazy for normal people like you, but how did you guess I am unlike y'all? I mean, none of you who know me know what I actually do for a living."

Priya smiled to herself and then chuckled shaking her head.

"If only you knew, all these stories are true books written by me after executing those crimes, killing those people, you would so make a run for the hills. I should seriously gift those books one day. But you still won't know who's written them. Of course, I am not a fool to write them with my real name. Will create so many disturbances."

She mumbled to herself, wondering about the troubled she would have to go through if at all she used her real name some day. The most difficult part would be finding a victim considering the popularity of her books within her audience.

"Hmm, whatever. You complete your assignments, I will complete the sequel of my books. Let's get to writing chapters now, oops, I mean, finding a perfect prey for those new chapters."

She kept smiling.

Who would have guessed, behind the façade of a law student lies a brutal psychopath?
