The Add On Tail (Ep.1)

There I was walking towards a glowing light. Suddenly the land below crumbled. "splash" I was drowning in the dark ocean. A beautiful woman came towards me. 

Lisa: ahhh! 

Rita: What's wrong hunny? 

Lisa: Mom, it's the nightmare. it came again.

Rita: The one with the wedgie?

Lisa: Mom... you know what I mean. 

Rita: Relax Hun, I was just messing with you. Is it the falling into the ocean one?

Lisa: Yeah, It's the third time this week.

Rita: Don't worry sweetie pie. My mom used to tell me that whenever you dream of the ocean, it means you have the heart of a mermaid. 

Lisa: A mermaid? Really?

Rita: Yeah. Some just belong with the sea. Like they were meant to be a mermaid. 

Lisa: Mom, I'm not 5. I'm 12. I already know mermaids don't exist. 

Rita: Hunny, even if your 5,12 or even 21, what you believe is stronger than reality. Plus, there is still 80% of the ocean that hasn't been explored. I'm 39 and I still believe mermaids are real.

Lisa: Hmmm..... I still don't believe in it mom. I mean I have heard that mermaids are fictional characters. 

Rita: You can't be sure if you haven't met one. 

Lisa: You do kinda have a point mom.

Rita: Okay, I think it's kinda getting late. You do have school. 

After getting ready for school, Rita drives Lisa to school. Lisa still thinks about what her mother told her that morning. 

Lisa: Hey Mya. What'cha doing?

Mya: Just finding my text book. Oh I almost forgot. Lisa since today's our 4th year "friendaversary" I got you this necklace. 

Lisa: Wow! Mya this looks so pretty. Ugh.... I hate myself. 

Mya: What's wrong lyss? Is it not pretty?

Lisa: No, no, the necklace is beautiful but I totally forgot its our "friendaversary". 

Mya: Its okay, I totally don't mind you not giving a present.

Lisa: Yesss..... How about we go for a picnic to the Lylac Beach?

Mya: Sounds great.

Lisa felt like school actually finished kinda early. She headed home and rested for a bit. At 6 she went to meet Mya at Lylac Beach.

Lisa: Hey Mya, look what I brought for us to eat

Mya: Peanut Butter and Grapeberry Jelly Sandwhiches ?! OMG your the best Lyss.

Lisa & Mya enjoyed their sandwhiches while talking to each other. 

Lisa: Hey Mya, Tonight's a full moon. Should we have a walk around the Beach.

Mya: Sounds good to me.

Both of them chit chat while walking. Suddenly Lisa trips on a branch and a bolder moves to reveal a secret door. 

Mya: Lyss, look. It's a secret door. 

Lisa: Woah.... Do you think we should go in.

Mya: Of course not. Who knows what's in there? 

Lisa: What if there's treasure. We will never know unless we go in.

Mya: Lyss, it's too risky. 

Lisa: Please Mya,. Please.

Mya: Fine but just a peep. 

Lisa: Yesss.... Thanks Mya.

Both of the girls walk in. The cave was filled with blue crystals. Suddenly, out of nowhere a glowing ball approached Lisa. Then it flew into the dark. Lisa felt like it was so familiar but she couldn't remember. She followed the ball. 

Mya: Lyss, come on we gotta go. Lyss... Lyss...

Suddenly Mya hears crumbling noises. She looks down and notices the ground is cracking. 

Mya: Lyss. Lyss.....!

Lisa didn't hear and kept going until the "crash" the land breaks and Lisa falls. 

Mya: Lisa!!! No!!!

Lisa: Aaaaaahhhhh..........

"splash" water splashes. Lisa was drowning. When she opened her eyes under the water she saw a beautiful woman swimming towards her. 

Lisa: "coughs". What? Where am I? Wait. Mya?! Mya?! Where are you?!

Lisa looks at the woman who saved her.

Lisa: Wait. You don't have legs! Is that a tail!!! Your a mermaid?! Mermaids are Real... Mermaids are Real

Cora: Oh no. June what to we do? 

June: Umm.... I don't know. I have never met a land dweller before.

Cora: Then try to talk to it.

June: Okay... Ummm...... Hi there, human, land dweller, something. I'm June a saltwater mermaid. and can I know how did you find this place? 

Lisa: Hi... You can call me Lisa. I don't know how I got here. I tripped over, a door opened, glowing ball came, followed it then boom fell down and found you guys.

Cora: Woah, woah, woah. Did you say glowing ball? 

Lisa: Yeah, it was round, shiny and magical. It looked pretty familiar but I can't remember.

June: She's talking about a "Ray Shine"

Cora: Yeah, but only mermaids can see them. How did she see it. 

June: I think we should take her to Kaditha.

Cora: Yeah, Hey Lisa. Come on. Were taking you somewhere.

Lisa: Where?

Cora: To Kaditha.

Lisa: Who is Kaditha?

June: She's our leader. Specifically, she's the leader of the mermaids.

Lisa: Ohh.

After swimming they finally arrive at the ocean where the mermaid pod was. 

Cora: K, you have to close your eyes here. Our kingdom is a secret. 

Lisa: Okay then. 

The girls went to Kaditha and told her what happened and..............
