Sugar pongal experience

We had a romantic wedding. I do not know how to clean the kitchen.Never done anything in the kitchen, I also told my husband before marriage itself. I am very dear in my house. I have three younger sisters next to me.Elder Sister they used to call me including my parents .she is working. They will not allow me do a job. I am very royal.

My husbands friends are all terribly support us.He is very royal at his home .He is a Muslim.

I am a Brahmin girl. So our marriage took place without telling him at home.He has a lot of friends .Plenty. He is very generous.

At this point the i st Diwali came. We were ready to with firecrackers and clothes , everything else for Diwali. But what to do? The fate was different. It was only when I was anxious, that jaundice came and I was admitted to the hospital. Pongal came a few days after returning back home from the hospital, six months i have been hospitalized.

Pongal came.A group of friends from Madurai, Came to celebrate Pongal. Sugarcane, Wada, Sugar Pongal, Ven Pongal,, my mother will do everything very well by hand.

My husband cooks very well. He was the one who taught me to cook. He also told me to cook with your imagination. . We people dint know how to make sugar pongal. He bought good rice, dhal, jaggery, ghee, cashews, cardamom, nutmeg, grapes, a little saffron powder, milk and green camphor.

All the items were ready. I made Venpongal super. Drain both the rice and the dhal well and put the jaggery, together with it and put it in the cooker. After a long time there were no whistles.

My husband does not know anything about preparation of sugar pongal ,because there is no whistle in the cooker .His friend Joseph is very innocent. Good .Cinema actor Vivek's best friend.Friend Take it out of the cooker and we can keep it seperately in steamed pot alone. But all in vain. no use,it was not at all boiling,Joseph told we will grind it in mixie then boil and drink as kheer.Idea was nice,but no use.

Pongal is not at all boiled until the end. Put it in a separate bowl and keep it for boiling., but all waste only.

Friends are having fun watching everything. Uncooked rice. No one was able to drink a drop. Even if you drink it like that, the diarrhea will comeout. We gave it to the maid. Now I am an expert in cooking and sugar pongal also. I still laugh at myself when I do pongal.

This is my first sugar pongal experience.
