Rahul carried the semiconscious, hysterically crying Rachita inside, after Kandhei had left, threatening them to take away their son Sambhav within seven days.

He advised Rachita to get hold of herself as the time of Sambhav's return from college was approaching and not to reveal anything to him at all, even by her actions.

Rahul assured her that he was running to his lawyer immediately to get a stay order. They had survived many crises for Sambhav and they would overcome this also successfully.

After Rahul had left, Rachita remembered the years of fighting infertility, going to institutions, doctors, priests, holy places, alternative therapy institutions, spending money countlessly, but they had failed miserably.

In one remote institute, the specialist had suggested to try surrogacy and had suggested Kandhei as the willing mother to lend her womb to carry their biological baby. They had agreed wholeheartedly like emotional fools as if they had received God's blessings at last, without any background check on the clinic and the surrogate mothers, who were running a racket of extracting as much money as possible from emotionally vulnerable childless couples.

When Kandhei had given birth to their son, they had named him Sambhav (meaning possible) and had profusely thanked Kandhei for her kind contribution in the process and had paid the full amount mentioned in the contract immediately, then and there.

They were flabbergasted when Kandhei drastically refused to hand over Sambhav to them. Their dream world collapsed around them and they had to approach the court for justice.

The clinic went on lengthening the case and went on extracting money from them in the name of out of court settlement till they realised that they had no intention of handing over Sambhav to them as they had become like ATM machine for the blackmailers. One night they packed a few belongings, stole Sambhav from Kandhei's thatched house and vanished from their home town, in the middle of the night.

Years passed as Sambhav grew up in a remote hill station, where nobody knew them. Rahul and Rachita were struggling for a decent income but were contented to their heart's core within their small family.

Sambhav began to notice his mother's pensive mood and her efforts to make him learn ways for independent sustainability as he was an out and out mama's boy, too dependent on his parents.

Sambhav questioned Rachita about her changed behaviour, telling her that he was not going anywhere, leaving them and was planning to help his papa in his staggering business after completing his studies.

Every night Rachita cried herself to sleep, asking God," How shall I survive without Sambhav.?? He is the sole reason for my very existence!!"
