So-Called-Equality?

So-Called-Equality?

Dear Diary,

Living all these years, what I found permanent is impermanence! Impermanence for the benefit, impermanence for the worse too, a lot worse. An incident today triggered something in me and pushed me to express about the same and let out what troubles me.

The incident as trivial as a wee lad wondering aloud “Dekh, kitna bada ghar hai!”. A wee lad astonished by the enormity of the house, wanting nothing more. But the wants in the house would be nowhere the same, the owner, living with utmost luxury and enough essentials still wanting a bigger house! Billionaires mourning losses they can recover in seconds blinded to the world where people are in such losses, they’ll have to put their life to recover! How is this equality? It is a shame how people choose to spend money on weapons of death in the presence of poverty in the country. How is this impartiality? How is this a free country where 2 out of 3 people in the country have to force their own wards to child labour? How is this democracy? Repairing the damage, we have done is now too late however humans have taken down pandemics when united and taken situations as war fronts. This stain we have put can be rinsed if each citizen in the country acts upon it. What we have begun, should be padlocked ourselves.
