SEMI-COLON

The day you held my hand and promised me forever, was the very day a part of me died, because I knew you would be leaving soon. I could feel the winds passing past your hair to my face speaking this is gonna end soon, we settled down at a bench near by, silenced as if all we wanted was to break it, what, I don't know?

It kept me hooked to where I stand still, that serenity never demanded anything else, just a presence, your presence.

Then we talked as the moon gazed shedding her serene moonlight and we walked past time. Do you remember?

We crossed blocked and finally reached where I was destined to reach, it was time to part away, and then you hugged me and left forever, maybe. Do you remember? You left with a semicolon to mark it in, without a closure.

Do you remember? I still carry that semicolon now within me..
