I was sitting in my bedroom when my wife came holding an album in her hand. As it was a Sunday and both our sons were also not at home, we had ample free time.

It was the album of our marriage. We were enjoying all the photographs but few photos were special. In one of the photographs, I was sitting on the mare and all my friends were dancing around. Few photographs of my wife in different poses as at that time demanded by the photographer.

We were also trying to recognise a few of the children in our relation, few of them are even married

now. Then there were photos of saat phere and after that of vidai. In one of the photograph my wife is hugging her mother and both of them were weeping. I saw some tears trickle down her cheeks. I wiped them and showed him some funny pictures of how her friends bargained for my shoes. In the last, there was a photograph showing my mother and sisters were doing aarti to let us in the

house. We visited our twenty-year-old marriage function in about 30 minutes.

I asked my wife to bring the album of her's and my college days. In one of the photographs of a conference, few friends with me were bearing coats. I told her that these coats were all borrowed from seniors just for the conference as no one of us had coats those days. In another picture I was sitting sadly surrounded by the books in exam days?

My friend clicked this photo to have a memory of the tension in exams. Then there were photographs of our sports function. In her photographs there were pictures of her trip to Kashmir and Vrindavan Park in Mysore which I liked the most. All the old memories came before our eyes.

As I was placing back these albums in the cupboard, I picked two old albums of our childhood. In a picture I was sitting on the shoulder of my father and plucking the mangoes. In another, I and my brother were sitting on the lap of my mother. Another one had all five of us, we two brothers and our three sisters posing for the photograph. When my wife showed me her picture I could not recognise her. However, her mother was looking just like she looks now. These black and white pictures made us nostalgic.

Now it was the turn of most recent pictures after our marriage. The one or two days old son's picture and their first steps. Of them reciting poems in school. Pictures of our trips to various places as a family and our recent trekking to Gaumukh and Tapowan. And the most recent of my elder son receiving the prize for standing first in Punjab in the IIT Exam.

This all took around two hours and in this short span of time we lived our life again.
