REVEALING

The Pharaoh ripped off the bandages, and walked free after centuries. This had been his favorite path for a morning walk, and at first sight, it appeared that not much had changed.

He wondered why his footsteps created a trail of light. Perhaps, it had something to do with his return from hibernation. He was not sure if the life around him could sense his presence. Something was amiss.

The rays of light emanating from the branches of trees were revealing. The world had turned dark aeons ago. An artificial sun was used to keep the process of photosynthesis going.
