He threw a glance at his fuel meter showing deep red strip growing narrow, thoughtfully he swerved his bike to a petrol pump nearest by.

While he was waiting for his turn to get refuelled , a sun burnt tall lanky fellow in twenties approached him with some kindergarten booklets and entreated him to buy one.

He pleaded saying "sir please buy one of these , your kids would learn a lot while having fun ", after a moment's pause he continued  "please sir , I am doing this because I can't beg "

Last of his words melted him from inside ,he asked him to wait while he got his tank filled , after the job having done he asked the price of booklet .

"10 rs sir" came back the meek reply

He gave him a 50 rs note , took a booklet and told him to keep the change.

He asked him not to give up the studies whatever side life turn upon to ,and went away from there.

On the way he brooded over if he could had helped him in a much more better way ,if he could had given him a 100 rs note instead of 50 one , or even more . Rest of his bike ride was just full of "I could had".
