A child was born on March 5, 1917, following the wishes of his father, Laxmi Narayan, and his mother, Asha Devi. He first studied at the Mission School in Cuttack; but for some reason, he later attended Ravensa Collegiate School. From an early age, he was chubby and brave. During his studies at the school, he rode his bicycle to Peshawar with a few classmates. He successfully completed his entrance in 1932 and studied B.Sc. at Ravensa College. For three years in a row, Ravensa won the title by excelling in sports.
He was an extraordinarily intelligent student. As a child, he hated the injustice of foreign English rulers. "He was released this morning; he's talked to his father and he's fine. A British government plane was stranded at Cuttack's Baliyatra grounds. Curiously, he put his hand on its wing and was bribed by British police that day. From that day on, he swore, he would fly, he would fly in the distant sky. He was fascinated by the distance. At that time, with the permission of his father, he studied aviation at the Aeronautics Training Institute of India in Delhi and achieved extraordinary success. He then began his career at Indian Airways.
From an early age, he was a follower of Kharbel's ideals. After his employment, he became interested in serving the country. By then, Mahatma Gandhi had led the National Congress. Under his leadership, he expressed a desire to serve the country. With Jai Prakash Narayan, in his personal conversation, he got a job and came forward for patriotism. He encouraged ordinary people as well to take part in solving this great task: "One of the things you and other people can do is keep up the pressure ... there are going to be some difficult decisions for government". Indirectly, he became a favorite of local leaders.
He was racist, adventurous, and friendly. At the time, Indonesia was under Dutch control. Its President Sukarno, the message of Indonesia, had no chance of being sent to anyone. But at the request of Pandit Nehru, he landed in Jakarta on a Dakota plane, rescuing the dangerous President Sukarno, Prime Minister Harihar, and Vice President Mohammad Hatta and bringing them to Delhi. The Dutch army completely failed to block him. Shortly afterward, Indonesia became independent. He is primarily responsible for Indonesia's independence. He was paid Rs 500 crore by the Indonesian government to pay his respects, but due to his generous heart, he was given a genuine Oriya identity and a self-respecting Indian. He was honored by the Indonesian government with the title "Bhumiputra".
This infant son is none other than Biju Patnaik or Bijayananda Patnaik, a self-respecting young man from Kalinga.
