Powerless

There was a river of fresh water. Flowing on its way, like other rivers, it too used to join the sea. Once, a fish of that river also reached to the sea while moving along with the water. Going to the sea, she got upset. Another fish in the sea saw her, she went to him and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Yes! I'm worried about living in such salty water," fish of the river replied.

The sea fish laughed and said, "This is how water tastes."

"No, no!" The river fish replied, "Water is sweet, too."

"Water and sweet! Where?" The sea fish was amazed.

"There, that side. That's where I came from." Said the river fish pointing at the direction of the river. "Good, then let's go and see." The fish of the sea replied curiously.

"Yeah, come on. I'll be able to survive there, but can you take me there?"

"Yes sure, but why can't you swim?"

"I have been flowing along the river's current for a long time, so I am unable to swim in the opposite direction," replied the fish of the river, holding the fish of the sea.
