People Are For The Country

I had been seeking to meet our leader to understand his thinking for a long time. The leader was busy with trips or political meetings or rallies most of the time. Today I had an opportunity to meet and discuss various issues with the leader. The leader had given me a very short time to speak to him. Following is a summary of the discussions: 

The leader in opening remarks: I understand a depositor of PMB bank has died. (This person was an employee of jet airways, which was closed down without giving him salary a few months back. Effectively he was earning nothing for close to one year and all his savings were in this PMB bank and the bank froze his account temporarily). I feel pain even if an animal is given trouble and dies.  

 You should understand, RBI has put such restrictions in the interest of the common depositors like you. When we are trying to find a solution to the problems of our nation created over the last seventy-odd years, such casualties are expected. Opposition leaders making a hill out of a molehill. Why do you make so much noise? (Bloody anti-nationals).   I am open to your inputs.  We would surely find a solution to the problem of depositors of the bank as soon as these elections are over. Unfortunately, the elections are too frequent to find a solution to such petty problems. They are essential for a vibrant democracy

Indians are highly resilient and would soon start managing for the sake of the country.

 

If there is a hold up of public money in the bank due to the bank's problems, people would understand and tolerate it. All nation loving people would move on. Only a few anti-nationals would crib and complain about the hold up for their petty daily needs.

If people are not able to withdraw own money in the bank due to KYC or eKYC or Aadhar or due to any other document mismatch, they would understand. First, they would rectify the problem and then come to withdraw their money. They are patriots.  It may take a few months. After all, we have digitized most of the governance activities. 

If due to some problems money is rationed, not a problem. People would stop all their work and stand in a queue (at bank counters) to withdraw own money as per entitlements decided. (by our noble and patriotic leaders). We should understand, people are put to inconvenience for their good. To stop corruption, black money, digitizing the economy,...

In spite of people going through difficulties, they have supported us wholeheartedly. (It gives us the right to harass them more to make them keep supporting). You see, we are custodians (kings) and take decisions for the good of the people, unlike our predecessors over 70 years. We have no personal interest.

Now I have to go to the rally. Thousands of people are waiting for me. You have any questions, ask quickly.

Me: Thank you, my leader, for your time. The country is not for people but people are for the country. I have no more questions. You have clarified everything.

I was wondering, what one should do if my savings are not available to me tomorrow. 

Some people have started keeping some cash, distributing their savings in different banks to reduce risk. What should I do? Should I buy a vault? Where the vault should be installed? Who would help me in making my savings safe?
