The year was 1941, Nazi Germany was at the height of its power. The French were defeated and the British were pushed back to their isles. U.S.A was sending supply ships and German ships like the KMS Blutcher, Scharnost, Gneisau, type VII and type IX U-boats were sinking them. After months, the Scharnost and Gneisau, damaged by escort ships returned to port along with the Blutcher, which was running low on food, fuel, and shells. The former two were put to repair and the later was stationed in Norway. Hitler decided to send their flagship, the Bismark, but not its sister ship, Tirpitz as she was under construction, but send Blutcher's sister ship, Prince Eugen.

The British got the news and sent their flagship, the HMS Hood, along with the battleships, King George V, Rodney and Prince of Wales. HMS Hood and Prince of Wales were sent first but the Hood sank by just 5 of Bismark's salvos and there were only 3 survivors, this was the worst Royal Navy calamity, this meant the Bismark had to be sunk to restore pride.

The planes from the Ark Royal were sent after a trail of fuel was spotted by a recon plane, the leak was caused due to the fight the Hood. the planes launched their torpedoes and one of them hit a rudder and jammed it, it could only turn left.

The next day the rest of the battleships except Prince of Wales (it was heavily damaged after the Hood sank) were sent to sink the Bismark along with 2 cruisers. More than 400 shots were fired which hit the Bismark and the only instance of a battleship torpedoing another was recorded by the Rodney.

The Bismark capsized took with her the greatest naval raider, her captain, Gunther Lutjens. The wreck was found 7 feet deeper than the Titanic by the person who found the same. She truly was one of the most powerful ships in the world and a super-battleship.
