Old man
Old man
One man was sitting in a bus.He was a young lad only.
I was sitting in a back row.
One Fisher man lady came with a basket full of fishes.
Being a brahmin lady I was keeping quite.
The man who was sitting in the front row was shaking his body in a very bad manner.
The Fisher man lady asked him to give the seat.
But he refused to give her, talking all rules and regulations.
The poor old lady was unable to withstand the bus movement.
She falled down.
Immediately I vacated my seat and asked her to sit.
Some other lady came and seated.
I told the new lady,I have to travel a long distance.
Since the old lady is unable to stand I have vacated my seat,
On a humanity basis.you pl get to from the seat
And give it to the old lady.
Then only the new lady vacated the seat.
In the mean time, one old man who was sitting in the middle seat
Vacated his seat and requested me to be seated.
In fact I was unable to stand in the moving bus.
See! In such a Bharat country slowly humanitarian system is fading out,
I thought.whereas a old man vacated his seat and accommodated me proved sill humanity sustains.
Moral:
It does not matter what race you are, what religion you follow, what colour your skin is, what language you speak, what culture you practice, what size you are, how young or old you are. If you have a good, kind heart, you will help another human being as much as you can. Let’s find opportunities to do good unto others.
The man who helped the old lady showed us that he had a lot of compassion for the old and needy, regardless of their religious background.
His last statement is key to understanding a lot of human behavior. Emotional intelligence and empathy go a long way in building bridges and shattering stereotypes. Unfortunately, many people rush to judgment, cult behavior, and mistreatment due to ignorance of the other.
Sometimes, all it takes for growth is one moment of sincere reflection, placing yourself in the shoes of others, trying to understand what they stand for and believe in, and defending them against discrimination and injustice.
Societal harmony and global peace can never be established if justice is missing, and justice can never be established if all good people are only advocates in silence.
