My Scary Friend: Part -7

Hello, my lovely readers. Welcome to part-7. In this part there is more of Raven's POV than Y/N's.

As Raven teleported herself back to her world she firstly observed her surroundings to make sure nobody saw her. As she got inside her room her breath hitched. Her mother was standing there with an angry yet dangerous face. Raven gathered some courage and asked her mother, "Mom, is everything okay?" Her mother asked her with her dark voice, "Where were you?" Raven stuttered but answered, "I was just checking the security of the castle." Her mother shouted, "Stop lying to me Raven! Answer me. Where were you? You left the ball in the middle and you were nowhere to be found. We had to get so embarrassed in front of so many people." Raven got scared seeing her mother this angry. She lowered her gaze and replied, "I went to the human world." Her mother was shocked. She started yelling at Raven, "Are you out of your mind? Human world could be so dangerous for you. If anyone got to know about it then they will harm you. They can try to take advantages of your powers." Raven said, "No mom, it's not true. They all are really nice. I got a really good friend. She is so pure that even after putting the barrier she could see me while others couldn't." Her mother's anger was increasing, "She could be a witch! She will first be nice to you and then trap you to take away your powers." Raven got angry hearing this about her friend. She replied angrily in a high tone, "Don't say this about her. She's is the purest soul I ever met. She showed me her world which is way better than ours. She was the one who even after knowing my identity, knowing I could kill her anytime I want, she accepted me as her friend."

 Her mother continued, "Listen princess, I don't care about any of this. Instead, you should be blessed that you were born with a boon which help your kingdom." Raven shouted this time, "This is not a boon this is a CURSE. It will only benefit the kingdom but what about me? I also have some desires. I just can't sit in one place and do all the work which is just a waste of time." Raven's mother's anger reached to the top most level. She slapped Raven. Raven couldn't process what happened. Her mother ordered her, "Shut up! You are going to be locked in this room until you realize your mistake." 

Her mother went outside and locked her room with magic. Raven banged on the door and requested her mother to open the door but she didn't. Raven sighed in defeat. Raven thought, "I need to get out of here as soon as possible. If I stay here for some more time then she'll send me the volcanic dungeon(the consequences) for punishment. It burns our soul so badly, which is done only when a criminal is to be made realize of his crimes." Raven was thinking about the ways through which she could escape. She thought it would be better to go back to the human world or else she would be caught in her world by her guards. She needed her grimoire to carry out the spell but it was in the royal library. She tried to remember the spell and after sometime she did. She carried out the spell and successfully teleported herself to the human world.

When she got there she saw Y/N getting ready for her school. It was already the next day(there was huge time difference between the two worlds). Y/N saw her and said with a bright smile on her face, "Hi." Raven didn't say anything and was just looking straight as if she was lost in her own world. Y/N frowned. She moved her hand in front of her face which made her come back to her senses, "Huh? What?" Y/N asked with concern, "Are you alright? You don't look so good. If you want you can share with me." Raven replied, "No, everything's alright. Thanks." Y/N didn't say anything further so that she wouldn't feel uncomfortable and just returned a smile which caused Raven to smile back at her.
