My Scary Friend: Part-3

Y/N arranged her stuff quickly and went into the store room where her parents wouldn't go. Still slightly shocked, she looked at Raven. Raven smirked and thought to play dumb, "What happened? You looked pale when your mother called you." Y/N raised her voice and said, "I got so scared. What if my mother saw you?" Raven replied, "First of all it would be better if you lower down your voice if you don't want your parents to come here, and so what if they saw me?" Y/N widened her eyes and said in a low tone, "So what? You don't know what might happen. My mother will bombard me with thousands of questions like, Who is this girl? Why did you let her in? How do you know her? And many more questions to which I don't have any answers." Raven started laughing in her deep voice. Y/N frowned and said, "You are laughing?" Raven smiled with a slight smirk on her face and said "I'm laughing because you are so scared of your mom...haha...and about me not being visible to your mom is because only those people can see me to whom I wish to show myself." Y/N calmed down a bit but a question arose in her mind. Raven saw her expression and said, "I know you have a question so say it quick." Y/N hesitated a bit and asked, "When you first came here you asked me that how I see you, so that means you had restricted yourself from getting seen by everyone?" Raven was impressed by her question and replied, "Good question. You're smart. Well, you see even I was surprised that you could see me, and before I too didn't have an answer but what happened just now proved that you're somewhat special" Y/N again asked, "Special?" Raven said, " Special in the sense that my powers don't work on you but it does on others." Y/N was amazed by the fact. 

Out of the blue, Y/N's father came into the storeroom and asked Y/N what was doing there and with whom she was talking. Y/N got surprised and said, "Dad, I was talking to myself because...actually, I wanted to find something which was kept with my old stuff so I came here." Her father got assured and left her so she could find the thing. Y/N let a sigh.

Raven said, "Well, now it's my time to leave." Y/N felt sad but didn't show it and asked, "Leave?" Raven replied, "Yes, maybe everyone would be finding me in the kingdom so I better go now, or else I'll receive a punishment." Y/N widened her eyes and said, "Punishment!?" Raven let out a sad chuckle and said, "Yes punishment, because the kingdom will lose all its charm and prosperity if something happens to me and if I break any rule the consequences would be...."
