Message Of Smile
Pallavi was waiting for the bus in the evening at the bus stop to reach her house as early as possible.. But all the buses were , crowded so the buses were not stopping at stop. Many buses went without stopping. The stopping of bus was depended on favour of bus driver. As they saw the stop they going far away from the stop. They were stopping the bus either before the stop or after a long distance. So that they can avoid the overcrowding.
This was happening for two hours. Darkness also became dense. She started thinking how to reach home? She saw a bus coming from far away, thought that If the stopped, she would have to climb in any way or else she would have to get double scolding. The mother-in-law keeps speaking anyway; there will be a chance to speak the husband too. But neither of these two understands that the bus are not coming in time.
As soon as the bus stopped, she somehow rushed and got in the bus. After taking a ticket she went at Ladies seat with tickets, somehow reached the seat and grabbed the handle on the seat and caught it. There was so much mess in the bus that don't ask. There was a fight between ladies for getting hits to each other in the rush. On the other side, there was violence among the men.. Conductor could not control all this. He was busy with his job.. There was so much noise that nothing was heard.
The driver was doing his job. Pallavi got attracted to a four-year-old little girl sitting on the lap of a woman sitting nearby. The child was like an angle , was playing blindfolded in her own fog, sometimes he was closing his eyes and sometimes he was opening his eyes. But She was totally away from the present world and whats happening in it. There was a innocent smile on her face. Which was being dragged down to Pallavik. She touched that little girl's cheeks very softly.. The girl smiled upon seeing her.
Pallavi spent some time watching her. The baby’s mother got up to get down on the next stop, went near the doar. When that place became empty, she sat there. Both of them left when the bus stopped. Pallavi kept thinking, how innocent are these children. Hopefully! Had the elders been like this, neither would have been so many problems, fighting’s, and an unpleasant atmosphere in the environment. There was so much peace in the world. It seemed to her that the smile of that girl was giving the message to be always happy in all the circumstances of life.
