Memorable Travel

My father was in Indian Army. He had to gone through several posting in year. So, he had to travel sometimes from north region to South region, and sometimes from South region to northeast region and so on. In each and every posting was very enjoyable for us. Because we had to travel to different parts of the country, and we visit many places. The life of Army was full of travel. One nice memory was also associated with this travel. Once we had to travel for Assam from Jalandhar, Punjab. We just packed our baggage and my father just went outside to look for the taxi. We were inside our rooms, at that time, everything started shaking, the fan, the door, the glasses of windows etc. were shaking. I couldn't understand and called my mother in a loud voice, Mummy! Mummy!

she came from outside and told us to come outside immediately, and saying this, she dragged me and my brother to outside. We couldn't understand anything what was going on? Then after a few seconds everything was as usual, and nothing was shaking there.

I asked my mother, Mummy what was that and why everything was shaking? Mummy said, it was earthquake. Then taxi arrived and we put our luggage into the taxi and moved towards Railway station.

We waited there for the train. My father bought some water bottle and snacks for us. After a few minutes, the train arrived, and we board the train and took our seats.

I always love to sit near window so that I can enjoy the outside view. So, I sat near window and enjoyed the view. After few hours, the train reached a station, and we get off the train to buy some more water bottle and something to eat. Then we boarded the train again and sat on our seat. At the time of travel, we enjoyed watching many different places, as the train was stopping in different station, we were able to test many different foods and could experience many new things.
