MEMORABLE COMPETITION

Having breakfast, I saw priest on a news channel. He spoke that if a boy touches his mother's feet

before going office he would spend a wonderful day. I thought, I never touched my mother's

feet. I thought, before going,should have got the blessings of mother that day. So before left my

home I took blessings of my mother when she was giving me 10₹ pocket money. She wondered

that day to see that her child was cultivated with culture.

My PTI sir stopped me in ground after prayer, I thought, perhaps I did something wrong. Sir

asked me in a dilemma how many students could play basketball in my class.

"Why sir?" I questioned back. " "actually, our school is participating in basketball competition this

year but neither we have players nor time for make students practise so that we can even save

the honour of school." He said.

I lied,I was a good player of basketball and I had played in stadium also, I could successfully

convinced him because I would play cricket in IG stadium where would meet with basketball

coach who was the friend of my cricket coach.I spoke his name front of my PTI sir, who had

already heart his name before.I was made the captain of our school team and most lucky thing

for me that competition was on the same day.

Seven boys were selected to move in an international school to compete. I asked another boy in

bus who were sitting beside me " do you know how many players play in a team?"

"What kind of question is that I'm not a fool I have played many matches and also know all the

rules". He answered.

"If u wanna play in team so answer me whatever I'm asking" I said with showing monopoly.

" five members play in a team . A team get 2 point to put ball in tha basket one time but if

ones can basket out of half circle what is appeared on floor so he get 3 points in a basket." He

elaborated.

He gave me some more knowledge about the game. My confidence level increased after got

enough knowledge.

When we reached there in the international school so I found different atmosphere there and I

was really so happy to be there. Around 500 students were cheering there for their

school's team we did not have any supporter even I imagined that there were cheering for my

school. I imagined my name was cheering by crowd. I had totally lost in my imagination when

Ronni rushed with me. "Be careful dude I'm planing here for my match" I said.

He got angry at random and answered,"this is the only problem of government school's students

that they don't do hard work before match then come here to be defeated very happily. And

your face is saying that you don't know how many members play in a team."He spoke.

"Hay...hay...hay...,dude don't mess with me I new 5 players play in a team. Exclaimed, stunned

that how did he know about it. He gave me a glance ,laughed and left from there.

Soon we met again in game when I got to knew that the person whom I rushed was a star player of basketball from any air force school, captain too.

Match umpire called both captains for toss. Going on toss,I was praying inside that Ronni would

win this toss( his name was screaming by his school supporters) because I didn't know why was

that toss being done. Hard luck. I won the toss and umpire asked me to take either ball or

basket? I chose basket. Game begun, they got 15 points in first half and and our team got zero.

They might have planing to enjoy with us. Ronni begun to enjoy with us he deliberately pushed

me twice.

I thought about my football skills to fall Ronni. I used my right foot front of his feet then he fell

down and bleed begun to come out from his forehead. He was also a shameless person as me.

I knew when he came back after taking aid. Now it had been a tough competition so I did three

basket and two from my team members we could get 12 points before second half.

We lost the match by 38-12 point but at the end of the game I realized that supporters changed their favorite player. When I listened my name by rush. It was one of the

happiest moment of my life and memorable too cause supporter turning from a champion to a

first time playing players.

While returning school my PTI sir said,"we had lost the match but we won the hearts."
