Love vs Ego

Ego and Love were having coffee when they were discussing each other. 

Ego said, "Opposites attract"

Love said, "I am blind and can strike anyone, at any time."

"Okay then, let's search for and face an event," Ego replied.

Going out to the streets, they started searching for pairs of lovebirds and encountered a couple engaged in a scuffle.

The girl opined that she was right and he was unfair. 

The boy retorted that he was absolutely right and did no wrong.

The enraged couple continued the quarrel for about fifteen minutes and finally broke up their partnership.

"I was wrong, you win" Said Love.

"I win. You are influential, but I am a leader and my followers, in spite of craving for you, would worship me in the first place." Said Ego.

"You were right. Henceforth, I shall try to strike the maturity, so that when the egoist follows you, the mature shall follow me and I shall help their relationship win," Said the runner-up Love with a sombre face.
