Rumi was my confidante, she knew about Karan from Day 1, in fact I had met Karan at Rumi's boyfriend Momo's party.

Momo as in Mohit for everyone else, Momo was what Rumi addressed Mohit affectionately cute na... Although I would always think there were better names that one could use to address boyfriends

Karan and Momo ( I would stick to it for Rumi's sake) worked in the same office, infact Karan was his boss.

I knew Momo, kind of as he would often drop at our flat to say Hello or pick up Rumi for a date.

Rumi met him on a dating app two years ago and had been going steady.

Momo had got his first promotion and had insisted on a grand party even though it meant spending half of his hard-earned bonus.

I didn't mean to go but Rumi insisted but I am glad now I did as I bumped into my love of a lifetime, Karan.

Rumi takes credit for playing cupid till date and Momo chides me for not wanting to attend the party initially.

On a serious note, things had started to become sour between Rumi and Momo recently. I was so busy with my own love story that I could never see through Rumi's romance falling apart completely.
