I had met Karan at a common friend's party. He was 10 years older, divorced and had a three-year-old son. Still, I fell for him. The stakes were really high.

I had dated a couple of guys earlier but none had lasted for more than a couple of months. This was something different.

He had made it very clear on our first date itself that he didn't want marriage ever again, it was up to me to stay or leave.

Still there was something about him that made me fall for him hook line and sinker.

Initially, it was very casual, but slowly we grew serious about each other. After three months of dating, we both had realised that we couldn't get enough of each other. It was not just the sex (of course that was exciting too) but we really enjoyed each other's company.

Going out on long drives, holding hands, watching sunset together, having heated discussions of any topic under the sun was our thing.

We decided to move in. It was a drastic change for me, I didn't know what to expect but still decided to take the plunge.
