Kajri and Manhar had this ritual of siting by the pond and talk about their future every fortnight, when Manhar used to visit home to see his ill mother, from the city.

He would talk about how city women mix poison in their blood and spit the venom on him every time he refuses to let them smoke in the cab.

He would talk about women, who run all day like his cab, carrying papers and laptops only to earn their living.

He would notice how some girls do not care about their extra change because their teary eyes couldn't count them well.

While stretching their arms to pay for the ride, Manhar would notice those numerous cut marks, while some have scars from childhoods, some have colorful tattoos and some have golden bracelets, bangles or just empty, letting the blue/ green veins bare open.

Kajri will listen to those stories and try to see herself someday in the city away from the village and it's heartbreaking taunts. She wants to escape from her loneliness.

Manhar on the other hand doesn't like city life because he knows how he craves to come back to his village his mother and Kajri, from the den of loneliness.
