Little Baker

Once upon a time, there lived a baker in north east of Asia. It was winter season and she was busy baking cakes and she saw a priest passing by her house. He called her and asked something to eat as he had fast the whole day. The little baker woman was not in a mood to give him a cake.

However She started making a cake for him. Then she sliced the many time to a thin wafer. She presented the cake to him. The priest to furious to see this. He cursed the baker to become a wood pecker who always searches for food. Children till day spot the wood pecker searching for food. This is conveyed from generation to generation.
