Killer In The Shadows: A Detective Priya Patel Thriller

The small town of Vikaspuri was normally a quiet place, but that all changed when the body of local businessman Jayesh Patel was found brutally murdered in his office. Detective Priya Patel was assigned to the case, and she immediately set to work trying to piece together what had happened.

As she interviewed suspects and gathered evidence, a web of deceit and greed began to unravel before her eyes. It seemed that everyone in town had a motive for wanting Jayesh dead. She realized that Rani Mehta, Jayesh's secretary, had been lying about her whereabouts on the night of the murder.

Priya confronted Rani with the evidence, and she eventually broke down and confessed to the crime. She had been having an affair with Jayesh and had become jealous when she found out he was planning to leave his wife for her. In a fit of rage, she had killed him and then tried to throw suspicion on Tarun by breaking into his room and stealing items that could be traced back to him.
