Kabaddi Kabaddi

Ronit, Shreyas, Gaurav, and Mudit are fast friends. They study at G.M.University in Sambalpur. All are good in their studies and in sports as well.

This week there was a Kabaddi match between G.M. University and Saraswat Degree Mahavidyalaya, Godbhaga. All the four friends were selected with Ronit being the captain of the college team.

The day of the match came. It was Sunday and the match was played in the Godbhaga college ground.

Ronit won the toss and selected the side. The game started at exactly 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon. He first attacked shouting, “kabaddi, kabaddi”. 

Nobody came to him. However, he himself moved forward and touched a player. He came back without losing his breath. He won the first point. Then a player of the rival team took his turn. Mudit caught hold of his right leg. He lost breath. The game went on for about an hour. The captain of the rival's team tried his best to score as many points as possible. There were many ups and downs in the match. Ronit's team won and lost many points. At last, the referee gave the whistle. 

He counted the points and announced the results. Ronit's team won the match by 66-62 points. It was a very well contested match. The students of G.M.University raised shouts of joy. It was a golden moment for all of them. Saraswat Degree College had won last year. However, this year's win was sweet revenge.

All the team's players were in high spirits. The principal of G.M.University congratulated the players. He also applauded the players of S.D. College for their good performance. Both the teams left the ground in good cheer.
