I Can Die For You

Sara was waiting for him in the park. "Hundreds of calls still he is not there. He is always late. He does not love me. He must be after Simone, that beautiful witch of college. Once he comes he is dead for sure."

Sara waited for an hour. But Max did not turn up.

Now, Max was Sara's lover, friend, her world outside her family. Max and Sara were in a relationship for 3 years. They used to meet each other in a park around 10 km away from their homes. For the ones who knew both of them, they were simply neighbors living next door but the ones who have observed them in-depth knew in their minds that they were lovers. They wanted to keep this a secret until time wants it to be revealed. 

After 2 hours of desperate waiting, Sara texted Max "I am dying to meet you here but I believe u have got someone else better than me. Well if it's that, I pray that u too die like me."

The next day, an ambulance came up with a dead body in their area. It was completely worn, the face was unrecognizable, bones were broken badly. The ambulance stopped outside a gate. Someone came out after the bell rang. He saw the body, tried to search in the pocket, found a wallet, and started crying badly. Gradually the people living in the area surrounded the van and gathered for condolences. 

One man rushed to Mr. Gary's house. Mr. Gary was Sara's Father. He told him about the incident that happened this morning and asked him to come to the graveyard for condolences. 

Sara woke up and asked for her bed tea. She saw the movie. No reply from Max. 

Go to hell. She said and then got freshen up. While she was playing on her phone, her father asked: "Do you know that boy with spectacles and skinny body named Max?" 

" Oh, man. He saw my phone. How can he do this? I should have a password on this. How can I be so dumb? After all, fathers are fathers. "

"Dad, who Max? I dont know any Max or any such boy. I know you dont like me talking to boys. Right. "

No. No, I am not asking in that sense, girl. Actually, I hope I am wrong but I dont think so. It's the same Max who lives in our street. Though he is skinny but nice. Always greets me with a good smile. Actually, today an ambulance arrived in the street with a dead body brutally damaged because of a rash car accident. Even the face was unrecognizable. Mr. Salmon from 145, told me that it's him. Poor boy. He did not come to his home for the whole night apparently had gone to a friend for studies and then this happened this morning. Ah, God bless his soul. 

Sara was shocked. She was speechless. She rushed to see the situation outside. The crowd was still there. An ambulance was still there. 

She hurriedly went down to see Max for the last time. She was scared to see the body. But then she saw that one fist of the body was too tight to open. A man was trying to open it to see what was there. Might be the no. Of the car who had hit him so bad. 

But when the hand was opened the man found the necklace. Sara snatched the same and when she saw it she cried badly. All were surprised. 

It was a nice silver coated bracelet with the line "Sara, my love, I can die for you".
