Help the helpless

Renu was going to market with her father. On their way, they met a beggar who came to his father asking for money. His father denied to give any money. That beggar ran after his father, still his father did not give him any money.

Another day, again Renu was going to temple with his father. On that day, another beggar came to ask for money. His father brought some food and offered to that beggar along with some money.

After coming back to home, Renu tried to solve her confusion. She asked her father, "Papa, while we were going to market, you did not give anything to the beggar but in the next day, while going to temple, you offered food and money to a beggar, Why this discrimination?" Her father told, " First day, we met a beggar whom I found healthy, fit enough to work but he was lazy. So I thought, he could have work and arrange money, food for himself. On the other hand, next day, we met a beggar near temple who was blind. He was not sufficient by himself to arrange food for himself. He was physically challenged, he was helpless, that's why I helped him and showed my kindness. So we should help then who are really in need not to them who take advantage of situations and become lazy.

Renu understood everything and thanked her father to teach him a lesson that is really necessary in life.
