Half Bread
Half Bread
It was Saturday I was on holiday on the 8th Feb 2020. As usual, I get up at 7:30 a.m. but on that day got up at 5 a.m. because I was very enthusiastic to buy some articles from SHILP MELA which was held at Chaukaghat Varanasi. No sooner did I reach the main road I saw a very painful scene on the road. A man was beating a lin thin tiny dog. The dog was a thief because it had stolen a piece of dry bread from his kitchen.
I was shocked to see the scene, stood silently on the side of the road. A question is arose in my mind - was the dog really a culprit? It was hungry and could manage to get a piece of bread without the permission of the owner of the house.
Then another question emerged in my mind and I began to compare man with this dog.
At present, so many news of sad incidents are appearing in newspapers and on Tv channels - robbery, rape killing crimes are common news.
The question arises now who is a bigger culprit?
His terror has created such a situation that the living species from lion to fish and birds trying to keep themselves away for safety purposes.
Then another question - in this struggle who will survive Man or other animals?
