Foolish Indulgence

In a city, a boy named Aditya lived with his parents and grandmother. He had a happy life with no worries and only wanted a best friend. His father was a manager in a company and had to transfer from one city to another every year and his mother was a lecturer in a college. As transfer was frequent his friendship with his classmates did not last much each time. Again there was a transfer into a new city, and a new school. In that school, there was a group of four boys. A boy named Amol who was obedient, studious and because of him all were together in that group. He helps each one in his studies. And everyone in that group was happy, had fun, and never had conflicts or jealousy for each other. But one day Amol was not feeling well and went to the hospital with his parent and later it was discovered that he suffered from had a heart problem and he could not be there anymore with them. Amol’s parents were not too rich to afford expensive treatment. So that they could do treatment of him. They lost Amol. Aditya was also upset to lose his classmates Amol. Other three, Kabir, Tanish, and Ansh now they started having quarrels with each other. Their friendship fell apart. No more they were best friends of each other as earlier they were. They were again into a bad company.

Aditya decided to join them as he did not know that they are not like earlier good friends. Because Amol was the one who connected them and told about good habits. But unfortunately, he was no more. Aditya joined three of them. And they decided to act as the best friends in front of Aditya but that was not the case. Aditya had everything only needed a best friend who supported him, who loved him, and who cared for him. He was rich enough so Kabir, Tanish, and Ansh decided to use the money of Aditya and have a party in a 5-star hotel. Aditya assumed that they had become his best friend as they were of Amol. Aditya agreed to the idea of the party to ask his parents for the same after school. But the parents refused to allow him as they knew all friends were not good and caring. They believed that in a short period of time one should not trust anyone and go with them especially in the absence of their parents. Aditya was not happy with his parent's decision. And only thought of his friends. He thought,” I never had a friend and now when I have I will never leave them.” He thought that they loved him as they loved Amol. While his parents went to work he lied to his grandmother and went with his friends to the party. When his parents were back from their work in the evening. They were panicky and waiting for him through the all-night but in vain. No clue was there about where was he. Father called Aditya's friends to ask if they knew about him. Afterward, they went to the police station and sought their which would help in finding him. After a span of 2-3 days, Aditya was found dead by the police. His face and body were burned completely.

The moral of the story is that "We should always listen and follow whatever our parents say as it is always for our own betterment. We should also know who is good and bad for us".
